Shortly after receiving the Gardasil vaccine, Colton developed #TransverseMyelitis, a neurological disorder caused by inflammation of the spinal cord. He was permanently disabled by the condition and became dependent on a large mobile apparatus in order to breathe.

After a debilitating battle, Colton tragically took his own life on Jan. 5, 2018, because he no longer wanted to ‘be a burden’ on his family.

The Gardasil vaccine robbed him of the life he deserved to have.

Colton’s photograph is now placed in memoriam at the front of the #CHDBus, where CHD will be collecting similar vaccine injury stories from across the country.
