Calgary pastor Derek Reimer was charged with mischief and disturbing the peace after being physically removed from a so-called "all ages" Drag Queen Story Time event at a public library this weekend.

A video filmed by Reimer shows a Calgary police officer in Reimer's driveway telling him he wants to “talk about what happened on the weekend” before informing him of the charges.

CTV News Calgary has also reported that a hate crimes investigation against Reimer has been opened.
