The New RNC and splintering in the Republican party
While Donald Trump was a political newcomer eight years ago, he has since completely recreated the republican party in his image. There is no secret there is a split in the Republican party. Never Trumpers and America first are now butting heads from the primaries to the house floor. Trump may be the republican presumptive nominee but Former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley continues to be a thorn in Trump’s side as she is still pulling double digits in primaries even after dropping out of the race one day after Super Tuesday. Though Ronna McDaniel has stepped down from her post as Chair of the Republican National Committee, it seems she didn't go on her own. There was already discontentment with how republicans have fared in the 2022 midterms and special elections, with McDaniel’s leadership of the party as a point of blame. On this edition of 360 View, Scottie Nell Hughes and her panel (Woodrow Johnson, GOO Strategist and CEO of Revere Strategies; Angela Wong, Co-host of The Final Countdown; Ed Martin - President, Phyllis Schlafly Eagles) are going to discuss is the reward of electing President Trump worth the risk of the entire RNC and the two party political system in the United States?
