President Joe Biden is looking to fuel his reelection bid with an endorsement from one of the nation's biggest stars — Taylor Swift. Meanwhile, Donald Trump is trying to tell his donors he is more popular than the international pop star and his base is larger and more loyal than the Swifties army. Trump enjoys a base of supporters who have proven immovable, but Swift’s fans have also become known for their die-hard commitment to her. One instagram post from the singer about National Voter Registration Day caused a 1,226% jump to the website she directed to, Vote.org. The nonpartisan nonprofit recorded more than 35,000 registrations, a 23% jump from the midterms election year of 2022.
