Kevin Strickland is free after serving more than four decades behind bars
Kevin Strickland is free after serving more than four decades behind bars for a crime he says he didn't commit. A judge set aside the conviction of the 62-year-old Missouri man.
Strickland had served 43 years in prison after he was convicted of capital murder and second-degree murder charges in a 1978 triple homicide. The only survivor of the crime had testified that Strickland was at the scene, but over the years she said she made a mistake and falsely identified him.
