Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has declared a 'state of war', after a militant operation has been carried out against Israel by Hamas and Palestine Islamic Jihad. This brutal massacre began early this morning when they fired 2,200 rockets into Israel an around 100 gunman cross the border from Gaza. Hamas currently has control of at least six towns in Israel. Civilians have been executed in the street, gunned down and killed in their home. Hamas has also taken soldiers and civilian women and children captive and relocated them to the border of Gaza.

Former commander of their Gaza Division, now Israeli Commander, Nimrod Aloni, has been captured. Aloni is Commander of the IDF's deep operations unit that works in Palestinian territory, known as "Depth Cotos."

Released video shows evidence of Hamas war crimes as they film themselves bombing Israeli ambulances and taking Israeli woman captive.

The Israel Defense Forces have reported their launched operation “Iron Swords” in response to Hamas's surprise attack on Israel. Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, IDF spokesman, told reporters that more than 2,200 rockets have fired into Israel since 6:30 a.m. Hagari says the Hamas terrorists infiltrated from land, sea and air.

The on going violence between Israel and Palestine is one of an unrivaled debate. This escalation in violence is unprecedented, and the pending repercussions will undoubtedly cause further division among many nations.
