Video has been circling on social media of Chinese COVID quarantine camps. In one video there can be seen an alleged COVID quarantine unit detaining a couple who have been suspected of carrying the virus. Haunting screams can be heard from the woman as the couple is placed in a small box on the back of a truck and shipped off to a quarantine camp.

There have been new claims of Chinese authorities moving millions to camps in the middle of the night, mainly in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi Province, ahead of the Winter Olympics.

China has mandatory track-and-tracing apps that are being used for contact tracing and ultimately locking down and detaining citizens.
