“I was willing to go through this case and potentially lose my license forever because the case at heart is about the doctor-patient relationship and whether doctors and patients will be allowed in the future to decide on the care of the patient or whether there will be intrusions by the federal government,” Dr. Meryl Nass told
#CHDTV.
The COVID crisis rapidly increased the erosion of the doctor-patient relationship. Dr. Nass believes that the need for doctors will disappear if we don’t stop the government overreach now by winning cases like hers.
“If doctors don’t have the ability to treat patients individually, there’s no need to have doctors,” warned Dr. Nass.
“If you want to be able to access a doctor who has the right to treat you the way you want to be treated, this case is really important.”
