President Joe Biden’s words have come back to bite him after he appeared to have laid the groundwork for his own impeachment before he became president.
President Joe Biden in 2019 endorsed the Democrat-led House’s bid to impeach former President Donald Trump over his phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Democrats accused the former president of withholding aid to Ukraine in a bid to influence the 2020 election in his influence.
“President Trump withheld Congressionally appropriated aid to Ukraine unless they granted him a political favor. It’s the definition of quid pro quo,” Biden wrote in a 2019 X post amid Trump’s impeachment investigation. “This is no joke—Trump continues to put his own personal, political interests ahead of the national interest. He must be impeached.”
In a move that many have described as karma, Biden’s 2019 comment has come back to bite him after he withheld Congress-approved aid to Israel to boost his falling support among the pro-Palestine left.

Contempt Proceedings Set To Begin

(5MinNewsBreak.com) – The House Judiciary Committee is on the verge of launching contempt of Congress proceedings against US Attorney General Merrick Garland due to a dispute over access to recordings from Special Counsel Robert Hur’s probe into President Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified documents.
There appears to be no resolution in the ongoing negotiations between House Republicans and the Department of Justice (DOJ) regarding the release of the audio files to legislators.
A source disclosed to The Daily Wire that preparations are underway for a markup on May 16.
House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) and Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) recently sent a communication to Garland, providing him with an additional ten days to fully adhere to the subpoenas issued in February or otherwise face contempt of Congress proceedings.
“Your response to the subpoenas remains inadequate, suggesting that you are withholding records for partisan purposes and to avoid political embarrassment for President Biden,” they stated in a letter dated April 15, as per a document seen by The Daily Caller.

The recent protests in support of Palestine across the United States have brought to light the ties between big Democratic donors and radical left causes. Notable donors such as Bill Gates, George Soros, and Nick Pritzker have been revealed to support organizations like Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow, who have been leading the protests at college campuses. These groups are funded by the Tides Foundation, which receives funds from Soros and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
For many Republicans, this connection between far-left Democratic donors and the protests does not come as a surprise, as they have been calling out Soros and other donor ties for some time. In early April, a letter from Republican New York Rep. Nick Langworthy to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) urged them to investigate Soros’ purchase of the nation’s second-largest radio company, Audacy Inc., as part of his efforts leading up to the 2024 elections.
Since mid-April, the pro-Palestine protests at U.S. college campuses have called for universities to divest their funds from companies connected to Israel. While some protests have been peaceful, many have resulted in clashes between police and activists, as they have violated school policies by building encampments on campus and causing property damage.
The lack of leadership from President Joe Biden surrounding these protests has been a point of contention for many Republicans. Nearly four days after the initial protests at Columbia University, and almost 100 arrests, Biden released a statement condemning the “harassment and calls for violence against Jews.” However, he notably did not single out the university for their role in the protests.
