The RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police), a federal police agency, will disguise themselves as terrorists or trouble makers in order to incite a terrorist act or vandalism at a peaceful protest. Afterwards, they can tell the news about how important the RCMP are because they stopped terrorism or vandalism they incited. When asked if the bank accounts of individuals who donated to the Freedom Convoy would be frozen, Deputy PM Chrystia Freeland had this to say, "The names of both individuals and entities as well as crypto wallets have been shared by the RCMP with financial institutions and accounts have been frozen and more accounts will be frozen."

On Thursdays she tweeted this promise "On Monday, Cabinet invoked the Emergencies Act to restore public order. The consequences are real. The measures we put in place are being used, they are having an impact, and they will have a growing impact in the days to come."
