When asked to create images of historical figures like America’s Founding Fathers or even current figures like the Pope, Gemini “diversified” the images and changed their race. Worse, it did so without being asked. As a result, users received AI generated images of a black George Washington, a female Pope, and ethnically diverse Nazis.
