Why is healing delayed when God could do it instantly?

Jesus healed some people with instantaneous miracles, but most of the time it does not say that the healing was manifest "at that very moment.”

Different settings - different results

People frequently report that when they are on the street evangelizing and praying for non-believers, more people are healed more quickly than when they minister in churches.
Paul’s thorn in the flesh (which may have been a physical weakness) was not removed because of the greatness of Paul's revelations. God allowed Paul to experience it to keep him humble (2 Cor. 12:7).

The Israelites could have crossed the desert into the Promised Land in just 12 days, but because they failed 10 tests of trust and obedience (Num. 14:22), they did not walk into their promise for 40 years!

What Job feared is what came upon him (Job 3:25). It is likely that his fear was the open door that allowed satan to attack.
These examples indicate that God's greatest priority is the development of our faith, obedience, character and hearts. At times, we may experience a delay in the healing of our physical bodies if that is necessary to achieve His goals for our spiritual lives.
So if God’s blessings are not flowing in an area of our lives, we need to be journaling and asking what we need to learn or change to release His grace. On several occasions I have done this, and God has revealed the answer. As I have been obedient, the blessing or healing has flowed. One time He specifically told me He would not heal my back because if He did, I would go right back to doing the thing He had told me to quit doing. He was right! And it took a long time for my back to heal.

God sometimes has different priorities than we do. When we feel pain, all we care about is having it removed - immediately! But God says that the condition of our inner man is primary, and our outer man then follows.

Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers. (3 Jn. 1:2)

The recent events in Afghanistan have sparked widespread concern about the potential for a resurgence of radical extremism and terrorist attacks, not only in the Middle East, but also in the United States and Europe.
Ahmad Massoud, a prominent leader in the anti-Taliban movement and son of the revered Afghan leader Ahmad Shah Massoud, shared a chilling warning with the world in an exclusive interview with the U.K.’s Daily Mail. He declared that terrorism is on the rise and that America must be prepared for the possibility of attacks at any moment.

Massoud is well-known for his relentless efforts to combat radical Islam and the Taliban’s hold on Afghanistan, following in the footsteps of his late father who was assassinated by Al Qaeda just two days before 9/11.
In his newly released memoir, “In the Name of My Father,” Massoud emphasizes the dangerous void left by the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan in August 2021. He believes that this vacuum has created an opportunity for extremist elements to exploit and launch attacks not only in the Middle East, but also in Western countries.

The withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan in 2021 marked the end of a two-decade-long conflict that cost American taxpayers billions of dollars. This was a result of the February 2020 agreement between the Trump administration and the Taliban in Doha, Qatar, which required both parties to impose combat restrictions and ensured the withdrawal of all NATO forces in exchange for the Taliban’s promises to combat terrorism.

However, the Biden administration’s decision in April 2021 to withdraw U.S. troops without leaving any residual force allowed for the rapid collapse of the Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) and the Taliban’s swift capture of Kabul on August 15th.
In his memoir, Massoud shares his lifelong struggle for freedom in Afghanistan and issues a stark warning to world leaders: ignoring the situation in Afghanistan could have dire consequences. He is not alone in this stance; United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan warned of the same potential in 2017. He predicted that Europe could see an increase in radical extremism and terrorist attacks due to a lack of decision-making and ignorance about the Middle East and Islam.

Contempt Proceedings Set To Begin

(5MinNewsBreak.com) – The House Judiciary Committee is on the verge of launching contempt of Congress proceedings against US Attorney General Merrick Garland due to a dispute over access to recordings from Special Counsel Robert Hur’s probe into President Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified documents.

There appears to be no resolution in the ongoing negotiations between House Republicans and the Department of Justice (DOJ) regarding the release of the audio files to legislators.
A source disclosed to The Daily Wire that preparations are underway for a markup on May 16.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) and Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) recently sent a communication to Garland, providing him with an additional ten days to fully adhere to the subpoenas issued in February or otherwise face contempt of Congress proceedings.

“Your response to the subpoenas remains inadequate, suggesting that you are withholding records for partisan purposes and to avoid political embarrassment for President Biden,” they stated in a letter dated April 15, as per a document seen by The Daily Caller.
