BIG GEORGE FOREMAN: My favourite number 22 appears twice in the movie. Right after the scene where Forman meets a journalist and she phones him up to ask him on a date. Then 11 dominates the scene followed by 22. 22 appears again during the credit roll on the building George Forum used to give kids a place to go to get away from the streets. ...I had to get that in there.
This film is about the conversion process by which Forman became a preacher of the gospel. George's poverty is dramatically presented in a way that is frighteningly real. I know, I lived in a one room shack on the side of a mountain where our family had to obtain our water supply by dragging jerry cans up the hill and the toilet was in the forest up the mountain near the outside shower. If you want to learn about just how bad poverty can get, this is a must see movie. And remember, George's mother had a full time job. Poverty definitely makes it easier to create revolutionaries and remove the blinders of just how terrible an economic system called capitalism actually is.

In the wake of the Silicon Valley Bank ordeal, Dr. Peter Onge delivered this insightful video surrounding the question as to whether or not the FDIC bailout is, in fact, a "bailout" in the traditional sense of the term.
St Onge is a Research Fellow in the Thomas A. Roe Institute for Economic Policy Studies and the Mark A. Kolokotrones Fellow in Economic Freedom at The Heritage Foundation. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from George Mason University, and a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from McGill University.
Before joining the Heritage Foundation, Peter was a fellow at the Mises Institute, a senior fellow at the Montreal Economic Institute, and an assistant professor of International Trade and of Marketing at Taiwan’s Feng Chia University. Before academia, he held senior strategy and marketing positions at Harris Corporation of Florida and Takara Toys, Ltd. of Japan. He has lived extensively in Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Japan, and Taiwan, and speaks fluent Spanish, French, Japanese, and is conversational in Mandarin.
