The chuckle might just be the tip of the iceberg.
Vice President Kamala Harris, the second most prominent figure in President Joe Biden's beleaguered administration, made an appearance on the syndicated "The Drew Barrymore Show" in an interview scheduled to air Monday, aiming to drum up support for a potential second term for Biden.
It could almost be comical—if the implications weren't so dire for the nation.
In a segment previewed on the show's Instagram account, host Drew Barrymore (whose recent claim to fame includes an interview with Bud Light drag queen Dylan Mulvaney) delved into Harris's experience as the first woman positioned a heartbeat away from the presidency.
Harris, who has struggled with approval ratings even lower than her boss's (according to a recent Monmouth University poll), seemed preoccupied with criticisms of her laughter.

"You were asking me earlier about what it means to be, like, the first woman," Harris remarked in a clip posted on Instagram. "And you know, it's funny because people still gotta get used to this, right?
"I mean, my staff, for example, sometimes they'll show me little things that just amuse me. Like, apparently, some people love to talk about the way I laugh."
"Oh, yes. I love your laugh," Barrymore interjected.

At an April 23rd campaign rally in Florida, Biden cited remarks Trump allegedly made many years ago in which Trump allegedly said that women who get abortions should face legal punishment. Biden then transitioned to making fun of Trump’s latest business venture, the God Bless the USA Bible. The Bible, which sells for about $60, features the popular Lee Greenwood song “God Bless the USA” and includes a copy of the Constitution.
Biden claimed Trump wants women punished for “exercising their reproductive freedom,” a notion Biden speculates Trump got from “that Bible he’s trying to sell.” It is a strange remark coming from a President who claims to be a devout Catholic.

Public Acceptance Of Mass Deportations Is Growing, Per Recent Poll
(NationalUSNews.com) — In a new Harris Poll released Thursday April 25, about half the Americans polled indicated they would support mass deportation of illegal immigrants. Surprisingly, this includes 42% of those who were polled and identified as Democrats.
Chairman of The Harris Poll and a former pollster for President Clinton, Mark Penn, commented on how surprising he found the results. He added that he thinks the main takeaway is that Americans want the current administration to get the situation under control.
When asked about their top concerns regarding the huge influx of illegal immigrants, 28% indicated worries about increased crime rates, violence and drugs. About 18% cited the increased cost to taxpayers, and 17% expressed worry about national security and increased risk of terrorism within American borders. Axios claims that the 64% of those polled who believe that illegal immigrants receive more in welfare and benefits than they pay in taxes are mistaken. Worries that 56% had about spiking crime rates being linked to massive illegal immigration were similarly dismissed.
