Beautiful Restoration
Bible in a Year:
Ecclesiastes 10–12
Galatians 1
The past troubles will be forgotten . . . . See, I will create new heavens and a new earth.
Today's Scripture & Insight:
Isaiah 65:16–22
In his wonderful book Art + Faith: A Theology of Making, renowned artist Makoto Fujimura describes the ancient Japanese art form of Kintsugi. In it, the artist takes broken pottery (originally tea ware) and pieces the shards back together with lacquer, threading gold into the cracks. “Kintsugi,” Fujimura explains, “does not just ‘fix’ or repair a broken vessel; rather, the technique makes the broken pottery even more beautiful than the original.” Kintsugi, first implemented centuries ago when a warlord’s favorite cup was destroyed and then beautifully restored, became art that’s highly prized and desired.
Isaiah describes God artfully enacting this kind of restoration with the world. Though we’re broken by our rebellion and shattered by our selfishness, God promises to “create new heavens and a new earth” (65:17). He plans not merely to repair the old world but to make it entirely new, to take our ruin and fashion a world shimmering with fresh beauty. This new creation will be so stunning that “past troubles will be forgotten” and “former things will not be remembered” (vv. 16–17). With this new creation, God won’t scramble to cover our mistakes but rather will unleash His creative energy—energy where ugly things become beautiful and dead things breathe anew.
As we survey our shattered lives, there’s no need for despair. God is working on His beautiful restoration.

The Power of Faith to Accomplish the Impossible
Faith is not just idle hoping for certain outcomes. True faith brings power - the power to accomplish what seems impossible.
Hoping points our desire toward a specific result. But aligning ourselves with God's purposes requires surrendering our limited visions. We may hope for one road, while God's miraculous plan may unfold down another.
Faith means trusting that God sees the bigger picture and knows what's ultimately for our highest good. It's confidence that when we partner with divine will, we become conduits for miracles, large and small.
With true faith, we let go of trying to control outcomes. Our role is not to decide what should happen, but to align with God's vision through spiritual practices like prayer, meditation and inspired action.
When we have faith,h, we create space for divine power to flow through us. Think of yourself as an instrument, and faith as the music. The more open the instrument, the more beautiful the music it can produce.
Your faith serves as a channel allowing God's miraculous power to manifest in the world. The stronger your faith, the greater divine works you'll participate in bringing about. But it all starts with trusting God's direction over your desires.
Release the outcomes. Move with divine flow. Have faith that seemingly impossible good can emerge through you. Align with God today and accomplish the unimaginable.

We have lost our rights slowly over time like the frog in the pot of water where the heat is turned up slowly so that it never notices what is happening until it is too late. We must push back in the same way to stop the loss and possibly regain some rights. Plague doctors and modern economists have a lot in common. They engage in and prey upon the same basic elements of human nature. People hope that the plague doctor and economist alike have arcane knowledge that will give them secret insight to fix their health and the economy. Both fall prey to the same incentives that leave their victims no better off while lining their own pockets.
We are in a very interesting yet equally terrifying point in our history, where the-powers-that-wish-they-were are seemingly marshaling all their efforts to drive the population into a technocratic control structure from which we can never return. And the reason I say this is an "interesting" time, and not just terrifying, is due to the fact that never before has the agenda been this laid bare, and never before has the population had the hard verifiable data to confirm for themselves that this indeed happening. It is all there in front of us, not opinion, but stated record, documents, planning, and open execution. I created this short video montage, on the clear technocratic path that is being aggressively formed right in front of us, in the hopes that it can reach those in the world who just need to see it for themselves.
