On Wednesday, Senator Collins participated in the University of Maine at Farmington's ribbon cutting ceremony for the University's renovated Sweatt-Winter Child Care and Early Education Center.

Senator Collins secured a combined $1 million through Congressionally Directed Spending to expand both the Early Education Degree Program and the Sweatt-Winter Center to help grow the state's educator workforce and to enable more children to benefit from this nationally accredited program.
