As the 2024 election approaches, NBC's Steve Kornacki and Meet The Press host Kristen Welker reacted to another survey revealing challenging news for President Biden.

"We talk about the erosion for Biden and now you start to see it," Kornacki remarked in response to the latest survey, expressing surprise, "Look at these numbers."
When questioned about various crucial characteristics and topics like handling inflation and the economy, 52% of respondents favored former President Trump, signaling an advantage for Trump. Only 40% of respondents chose President Biden, marking a 22-point swing in favor of Trump.
Regarding the importance of good physical and mental health for respondents, President Trump also scored significantly.

Concerning Trump's cognitive capacity, 45% of respondents felt more confident than they did about Biden (20% of respondents supported Biden).
In terms of "competence and effectiveness," 47% chose Trump and 36% chose Biden among those surveyed. This contrasts sharply with a poll conducted in 2020 where Biden held a roughly 10-point lead over Trump, prompting a surprised reaction from Welker.

Kornacki highlighted Biden's previous edge over Trump in handling crises, noting a reversal in favor of Trump. The comparison between Trump and Clinton in terms of their presidential track records also shifted, with Trump now surpassing Biden in that aspect.

During a three-day fundraising tour in California, Biden, 81, joined Pelosi, 83, upon his arrival at SFO on Wednesday afternoon, as reported by NBC News.

City of Baltimore Makes Huge Allegation About Ship That Brought Down Bridge

Baltimore has initiated legal action against two companies, alleging their failure to adequately staff and maintain a container ship led to the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge last month.
The bridge collapse occurred on March 26 when the MV Dali, registered in Singapore, departed Baltimore Harbor and collided with one of the bridge's support piers. Tragically, four individuals lost their lives, and the bodies of two presumed victims remain unrecovered.
The city's 16-page filing alleges negligence and possible criminal conduct by the companies leading up to the disaster. Despite alarms indicating power supply inconsistencies on the Dali before departure, the vessel sailed from port in an unseaworthy state, the lawsuit contends.

Dr. Fauci FINALLY Faces The Music!

The leaked emails disclosed by Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) shed light on the origins of the COVID-19 outbreak. Senator Paul publicly released these emails on Tuesday, revealing exchanges between key NIH officials and EcoHealth Alliance, a nonprofit organization focused on global health research.

According to the emails, there were discussions about mapping the genomes of more than 700 coronaviruses and a repository of 15,000 samples from Wuhan. However, Dr. Fauci did not disclose these conversations publicly.

Brad Wenstrup (R-OH), the chairman of the House subcommittee, issued the subpoena for records related to the origins of COVID-19 from Morens's personal email. Later this year, Morens, accused by whistleblowers of avoiding transparency by using private email, will testify publicly.
