The propaganda machine is working overtime to muster support for more war
The spike in anti-Iranian news sentiment you might have noticed this week is not happenstance.NATO and American weapons contractors are not happy about Iran’s new agreement to resume diplomatic ties with Saudi Arabia. Here, we see their propaganda wing in action (again).
These hysterical headlines are designed to do nothing but intensify American hatred towards Iran—stories ranging from “poisonings of schoolgirls” to (and I’m not kidding) Iran sending “100 million rounds of ammo to Putin”. They even included the classic, “Iran is developing a nuclear weapon!”
The mainstream media is not just biased towards one party. It’s not just lying to you at every turn about the origin of COVID-19 or the efficacy of a vaccine.
It’s also fiendishly pro-war.
To borrow an expression from the Ron Paul Institute's Daniel McAdams, greasing the wheels of the war machine is, and will always be, the media’s primary function.
