The Founding Fathers, like Sam Adams, were straight talkers who always spoke the truth. They didn't believe in being politically correct or not saying things directly. Adams warned that their generation of Americans should not do anything that would make them forever ashamed. Their way of speaking clearly and honestly helped build the foundation of America, based on truth and openness.
