"URGENT CALL TO ACTION
On Thursday, June 16th, the Assembly floor amended SB866, changing the age of consent to vaccinations from 12 to 15. This didid not change the consent issues for a minor, nor the fact that the bill is still illegal. The initial vote count was 31 Ayes and 22 Noes on the floor, but the final vote count was 38 Ayes and 22 Noes to amend the bill.

The pressure is on because Senator Weiner needs 41 Ayes to pass SB866 out of the Assembly House. With one new assembly member being sworn in this week and another being sworn in next, it is possible Senator Weiner may have the votes to pass this through.

SB 866 can be heard as soon as the Monday, June 20at 1pm on Assembly floor. DO NOT let up on our opposition to this bill. We need a flood of new calls now!"
