Why are kids born to celebs turning binary or transgender? Being raised by a narcissistic parent with borderline personality features is deeply wounding to a child's sense of Self. It's poor parenting that forces children to look for a way out of their pain~ NOT gender dysphoria.

Mother’s Day is the Abortion Lobby’s most HATED holiday.
They hate the thought of a mother keeping, carrying, and giving birth to her precious little baby.
To Planned Parenthood, all of this means a missed opportunity for a “sale.”

So, they certainly hate all of the wonderful work Students for Life’s programs do to encourage young pregnant mothers to choose life!
That’s why, with today being Mother’s Day, we’re sticking it to the Abortion Lobby by making sure that young mothers around the country are being helped and encouraged to choose Life!

So, would you consider helping a mother in need by signing up with a monthly recurring gift of at least $10 or more on Mother’s Day?

As part of our Standing With You Initiative, which funds ads in key cities to connect mothers in crisis to pro-life, pregnancy help centers as well as mentors Students for Life groups to support pregnant and parenting moms with everything from baby showers to diaper drives to free babysitting and change policies on their campuses that discriminate against pregnant young women, we’re hosting a virtual Mother’s Day Item Drive in several key cities to help give mothers the supplies they need to care for their beautiful babies.

And because of your generous support, this life-saving program is not only able to directly help mothers, but also help the Pregnancy Help Centers they go to for help.
In fact, one Pregnancy Help Center even sent a hand-written letter of appreciation to Camille, our Standing With You Manager, for all the work we’re able to do thanks to your support. I've included a picture of the letter at the bottom of this email.

The letter read:
Dear Camille,
We would like to extend our appreciation for including us in the Annual Mother’s Day Item Drive.
Thank you to Standing With You and Students for Life for this wonderful work, which helps us serve our clients here in Hamilton Country, Indiana.
Our center is expanding in the coming months and this will help us move forward in the endeavor.
May the Lord Bless You,
Hamilton County Life Center.

Loving Leadership
Bible in a Year:
2 Kings 19–21
John 4:1–30
We dealt with each of you as a father deals with his own children.

Today's Scripture & Insight:

1 Thessalonians 2:7–12
A viral video of a mama bear trying to get her four energetic little cubs across a busy street brought a knowing smile to my face. It was delightfully relatable to watch her pick up her cubs one-by-one and carry them across the road—only to have the cubs wander back to the other side. After many seemingly frustrating attempts, the mama bear finally corralled all four of her cubs, and they made it safely across the road.

The tireless work of parenting symbolized in the video matches imagery used by Paul to describe his care for the people in the church of Thessalonica. Instead of emphasizing his authority, the apostle compared his work among them to a mother and father caring for young children (1 Thessalonians 2:7, 11). It was deep love for the Thessalonians (v. 8) that motivated Paul’s ongoing efforts to encourage, comfort, and urge them “to live lives worthy of God” (v. 12). This impassioned call to godly living was borne out of his loving desire to see them honor God in all areas of their lives.

Paul’s example can serve as a guide for us in all our leadership opportunities—especially when the responsibilities make us weary. Empowered by God’s Spirit, we can gently and persistently love those under our care as we encourage and guide them toward Jesus.

Do you want them to evaluate right from wrong or do you want to motivate them to act out of fear?

All choices are made out of love or fear. It is fear that leads parents to strict obedience, behavior modification, and punishment/consequences. Fear of a lack of respect. Fear of a lack of politeness or manners. Fear of potential danger or harm. Fear of not being in charge or having 'the' authority. All of these fears trigger an innate sense of duty as a parent because 98.9% of the population has been programmed to believe that parents must attempt to control these concerns or they aren't good parents. But, by attempting to mold children into our ideas of what they need to be instead of allowing them to be who they are, we often do more harm than good, creating animosity, contributing to trauma, and damaging our relationship with our children. Many simply believe this is just parenting but I am here to tell you that it's not and there is a better way.

This goes beyond just spanking. What is needed is a complete overhaul of known parenting paradigms, the predominate being the 'authoritarian parenting paradigm'.
