Communion with God Training in Burundi, Africa by Hae Jung

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Virkler and CLU because through them I have learned how to hear God's voice and live by the flow of the Holy Spirit.

After learning how to hear the voice of Jesus, I was able to follow Jesus' guidance and create a 45-week discipleship course three years ago. During my journaling, the Lord said that He would use this 45-week textbook among the nations. At that time, I was just a student studying at CLU and an ordinary Korean middle-aged woman staying at home. So I wondered if I had misheard God’s voice.

However, starting in January 2023, God opened the doors to the nations, and I was able to conduct a pastor's school in Burundi, Africa from the end of last year to January 17 of this year with a 45-week discipleship textbook. As a result, the Full Gospel denomination attending the school made a major decision. This denomination officially declared that they would put down the doctrines they had held on to and accept the truths in the 45-week textbook as their doctrines. All glory to God! This textbook consists of four parts: “Gospel,” “Salvation,” “Making Disciples,” and “Communion With God,” and all 50 pastors who participated in the school learned the 4 keys to hearing God’s voice and journaling.

Teaching in Burundi

Additionally, the representative of this denomination said that this truth should also be shared with pastors of other denominations, so we decided to hold a second pastors' school in Burundi from late July to early August of this year. Hallelujah!

When I learned to hear God's voice and obeyed Him, I was able to experience God working directly.
My desire I keep holding is to continue to walk with God and communion with Him 24/7.
Please pray for the success of our next school from late July to early August of 2024

Neglect of Soul
By Billy Graham • December 21

“Blessed is the man who reveres God, but the man who doesn't care is headed for serious trouble.”
—Proverbs 28:14 (TLB)
All Christians believe in God, but many Christians have little time for God. They are too busy with everyday affairs to be taken up with Bible reading, prayer, and being thoughtful to their fellowmen. Many of them have lost the spirit of a zealous discipleship. If you ask them if they are Christians, they would probably answer, “I think so,” or, “I hope so.” They may go to church at Easter and Christmas and on other special occasions, but otherwise they have little time for God. They have crowded God out of their lives.

The Bible warns against neglect of your soul. It is possible to harden your heart and shrivel your soul, until you lose your appetite for the things of God. This hunger, then, that you should have is a desire to be always right with God. It is a consciousness that all searching for peace of heart, except in Him, is in vain.

Prayer for the day

I hunger today to know more of You, Lord. Amen.

Thoroughly Equipped
JUNE 6, 2023

Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed [David] in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward.
1 Samuel 16:13

Recommended Reading: 2 Timothy 3:16-17
On the day of His ascension to heaven, Jesus prepared His disciples for the task that was before them. He explained the Old Testament Scriptures to them (Luke 24:45), He outlined their mission (Luke 24:47), and He told them they would receive “power from on high” (Luke 24:49) from the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8). Thus, He revealed the two dynamics that would equip all who would follow Him: Word and Spirit.

The equipping of believers by the Word of God and the Holy Spirit became the hallmarks of Christian discipleship. By the Spirit, we are given gifts, abilities, and traits to manifest the ministry of Christ in the world (Romans 12; 1 Corinthians 12; Galatians 5). And by the Word of God we are taught, challenged, corrected, and trained so we “may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Do you want to be useful to God in ministry? Yield to the Spirit of God and live in the Word of God, and you will be thoroughly equipped.

Every man who is divinely called to the ministry is divinely equipped.

Prayer - May 30, 2023
Rev. Andrew Gawrych, C.S.C.

Lord, like your first disciples, we wish to abandon all to follow you. Yet we have learned that we still have it within ourselves to hold back. We wish to be whole-hearted, yet we are hesitant. May the promise of your love and friendship continue to draw us along the paths of discipleship in this world to our eternal home in the world to come. Amen.
