⚠️ ‘Long Overdue’: EPA Proposes Ban on Nerve Agent Used on Foods
The EPA proposed ending all food uses of the pesticide acephate, which has been linked to adverse health effects in children including reduced IQ, ADHD and autism spectrum disorder.
The proposal, which comes after more than 50 years of use, won’t prohibit spraying the pesticide on tree farms + seed orchards.
