Officials in Austria have announced unvaccinated citizens will be formally asked to get vaccinated starting February 15; those who fail to comply one month later will face penalties.

Penalties for non-compliance: 600 euros every 3 months. Maximum penalty 3,600 euros. Failure to pay will result in substitute prison sentences.
