🚨 Protesting Farmers Win Big Concessions, But EU Leaders Dig in Their Heels on Net Zero Climate Target
Following the protests in Brussels by farmers from across the EU, the European Commission offered some concessions to the agricultural sector.
The new commission plan drops the requirement to reduce farm-related emissions such as nitrogen, nitrous oxide + methane by one-third + removes the recommendation that citizens eat less meat.
