It’s Christmas Time Again

December is the month when the air is filled with joy and excitement as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. The atmosphere is different. People are more loving and caring. It is my favorite month of the year. We are celebrating the greatest event in history, the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Perhaps our greatest joy is that we have learned how to experience His love daily through communion with God. His voice and visions have been restored to us. God tore the veil from top to bottom at Jesus’ death on the cross, giving us all access to the Holy of Holies, His direct presence (Matt. 27:51).

His visions release within us the Kingdom emotions of love, joy, and peace which wash over our hearts. We experience this cleansing touch every time we experience His wonderful counsel. Therefore we journal daily and breathe in the pure atmosphere of heaven. His words of love and compassion, mercy and forgiveness, drive away our loneliness, fear and apprehension.

Journaling that brings hope

Mark, I do all things well; even Habakkuk discovered that. When the wicked surround the righteous, justice comes out perverted (Hab. 1:4), yet My justice still ruled in that day of lawlessness and destruction. For it was Me bringing judgment upon My people for their disobedience, so that I may purify them and restore them to a land of blessing (Hab. 1-3).

Do you think today is any different from that day? Am I not the same yesterday, today, and forever? Yes, and again I say, YES!

Once Habakkuk saw My purposes in his life, was he not restored to joy and rejoicing (Hab 3:17-19)? Yes, and again I say yes. Is that not what I do for you every day as you come and hear My voice and see MY PURPOSES in all that is taking place around you? YES, and again I say, YES!

So come daily during these dark times. Come and listen so that your soul may be restored and the joy of the Lord may be your strength. Do what I have asked you to do which is to share the good news that My sheep hear My voice (Jn. 10:27). As you share these truths you bring revival and renewal to My world.

For what will restore My church and My world other than My voice in their midst? NOTHING, and again I say, NOTHING (Jn. 6:63)! So spread the good news. I LIVE in the hearts of mankind and I restore them to truth, righteousness, and fullness of life! Behold I have spoken. Behold it is to be done.

Thank You, Lord.

Prayer: Lord, please lift off this spirit of heaviness. Release unto me Your spirit of lightness, peace and joy. Let me see afresh that the heart of the King is in the hand of the Lord, and You turn it wherever You want, for You are the King of Kings (Prov. 21:1; Rev. 17:14).

Thank You, Jesus!
