Chay Tana, now 9 years retired, is a qualified person-centred counsellor whose life quest has been dominated by his passion for understanding the nature of Consciousness - it's arising and purpose, the difference between psyche/soul and spirit, plus the nature of the spectrum of Love - and also his passion for the arts, which primarily include writing, music and digital art.

Career-wise, he's worked in various fields including printing, retail management, editing and rewriting, the theatre (once as an actor and also as a costume co-ordinator), as a festival outdoor event co-ordinator, plus as a counsellor. He plays guitar, has written many songs, has played drums in two bands; plus he's worked voluntarily as a befriender in a drop-in centre and also for a local Citizens Advice Bureau and library. He was also a full-time carer for his mother before she ascended her planetary body.

Chay Tana is author of the trilogy-length science fiction epic gnostic quest novel, "Quest of the Solar Flower", which is currently available as a single volume or as three separate volumes; though once a new edition is completed the three volume trilogy version will be taken off sale as the separate volumes rarely sell. Not being in it for the dosh - as there's little or no money in self-publishing! - he advises prospective buyers to wait for the 3rd Edition of the novel as there are at least three major changes he wants to make.
