Petro Aleksandrovich
A child of the Gulag diaspora whose parents survived Lenin, Stalin, and Hitler. Born in Australia from displaced parents who met as prisoners of World War II in a German working prisoner camp. Emigrated to America in 1960. Working as an artist and naturalist with more than four decades experience with raptors and the environmental movement. Operating principle: Per aequalitatem naturae non est. I'm always looking for first principles that comport with the natural world or the abstract world. The natural world is organic, while the abstract world is symbolic. Organic principles always precede the abstract and when the latter stray to far from the former all matter of mischief and mayhem follows.
