New book coming out exposing CIA abuse of secrecy, “Twilight Of The Shadow Government.” Release date October 1st 2024. The book will be published, but they are coming after the author (yours truly).
Bob Woodward: Modern CIA Mockingbird
I originally blew the whistle on the CIA's cover up of the poisoning of my family to a reporter I had met at a party of former spies. For his sake, I will withhold his name, referring to him only as reporter X. I will, however, disclose his editor and supervisor, who controlled our contact from behind the scenes. That supervisor was Bob Woodward, Editor of "The Washington Post."
Following my initial contact with reporter X, "The Washington Post" went directly to the CIA, reported my contact and the information I had provided. For the next month, reporter X, clearly under orders from Woodward, called me almost daily asking additional questions, that could only have classified answers. Of course, I recognized the trap.
I have done several programs on Bob Woodward’s direct connection to the CIA, both in his previous classified government career and TS/SCI clearance, his position as Editor of The Post, and his fabrication of a deathbed conversation with CIA Director William Casey, published in Woodward’s book, "Veil: The Secret Wars of the CIA." In his book, Woodward claims he had a secret meeting with Casey as he lay in his hospital room, during which Casey confessed to the Iran Contra affair.
Unfortunately for Mr. Woodward, I was an agent on the protective detail of DCI Casey, occupied the seat just outside his office at Langley (where he met with Woodward numerous times, even giving him classified information), I staffed a well-equipped office in his residence, and sat in the 24/7 “Hot Seat” directly outside Casey’s Georgetown University Hospital room, where he lay terminally ill from an inoperable brain tumor. Woodward attempted to get into Casey’s hospital room, but we caught him and showed him the exit door. He never returned. The account in Veil is a fabrication.
Bob Woodward is a textbook CIA Mockingbird.
