Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems
This robot vacuum-mop is an excellent option for flat dwellers, as it carries the rubbish away in its own bin and uses an incredibly small docking station. The application lets you set different modes and monitor cleans. The mopping function is also impressive.
Its mapping, obstacle avoidance, and mopping capabilities are impressive. It picks up pet hair, spills and dirt. It also self-empties, self-cleans, and refills its tank.
iRobot Roomba Combo
The iRobot Combo includes mopping in addition to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. It's not quite able to compete with our current Editors' Choice, the Deebot X1 Omni, which offers more cleaning power and an app for mobile that is simpler to use but it does make for a strong alternative. It consistently picked up dirt from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance isn't as sophisticated as other systems like LiDAR or structured light, but it still can prevent collisions in the majority of cases.
The Combo includes the majority of the same features as the j7 Plus with the addition of new onboard acoustic sensors to determine the floor's type and AI-powered navigation. However, it does not have the ability to adjust suction power manually. It's also a little smaller than its vacuum-only counterpart and doesn't come with a self-empty dock.
Based on my experience I have found that the Combo is a fantastic choice for most homes and its sleek design is easily one of the most attractive in the market. The matte black finish is more elegant than the glossy or metallic finishes of the majority of competitors. iRobot also adds some classier touches, such as the leather tab to open the bin that is onboard and a shelf that can hold bags in the dock. The iRobot Combo also allows you to create maps of your home, as well as to set up Keep-Out Zones, No-Mop Zones and Clean Zones.
Roborock
While Roborock is relatively new to the robot vacuum and mop market, it's already earned its mark because of its innovative cleaning techniques. Its vacuums feature industry-leading suction capabilities, while the mopping systems of the brand come with vibrating mops that can scrub floors clean. You can also customize the cleaning process of the bot using a variety and mapping features.
Another amazing Roborock feature is the obstacle avoidance, which lets the robot detect objects that are lower than its height. This is especially helpful for the most well-known Roborock models, such as the Qrevo Master, which is top of the line in terms of navigation because of vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs have been reported to run over pet waste and slam furniture with no awareness. The Qrevo Master, however, solves this problem by using an AI system called Reactive that uses two cameras to see the objects within a room.
Roborock robots have a variety of convenience features to reduce maintenance. They include docks that are automatically empty and mop-washing stations that have many functions. These features make it unnecessary to empty dustbins or wash mops by hand, allowing for a truly hands free ownership experience. In addition, the app's simple design and lag-free connection to the robot make it simple to use.
Hobot Legee D8
Hobot Legee, with its broad variety of integrated cleaning features and advanced mopping capabilities is one of the best robot vacuums and mops for dry and wet floors. Its advanced navigation system combines five different technologies to plan and follow the most efficient route. It can also detect different flooring materials and identify obstacles with precision. It can even lift itself 7mm to glide on carpets. The smart spray system makes use of the proper amount of water to wash away stains without leaving unsightly water marks.
The Legee, a Gen 4 Robot, competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 or Ecovacs Deebot T20. Both of them cost more. It is more advanced that include a swivel D-shaped robot that can clean corners and under cabinets more efficiently than the round version. Its sensors include 360deg (3D) (Lidar Encoder Gyro and E-compass), 4 forward-facing and 1 right-side-facing (IR ToF distance sensors) and two pairs of cliff detectors front and rear (most robots only have one pair). It also includes Legee SLAM, which helps to reduce the bump-and-grind issues that are a problem for Gen 4 Robots.
Contrary to other robots unlike other robots, the Legee has a built-in trash compactor, and can use the less raunchy 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. The LuLu mop cleaner station cleans, refills and dries the mop 'cloth'. You can use the mop up to six-times longer than you would with other mops. It also reduces the amount of waste and frequency at which bins are emptied.
Karcher RCV 5
Karcher, known for its pressure washers and gardening tools has been experimenting with robot vacuums for quite some time. This is the most technologically advanced model from the brand. It can create maps for your home with LiDAR, and can be programmed to mop or vacuum. It also differentiates between carpets and hard floors to ensure that you don't end up with the dreaded puddles on your carpet.
Its navigation is top-quality, avoiding furniture and rugs effortlessly and even lowering itself up steps. The machine can be customised with a variety of settings including cleaning schedules and rooms it is required to clean. It has an emergency button' that will force the robot to return home when its power runs out. It can be set to shut off automatically if the threat of storms is imminent.
The RCV 5 is very easy to use, and despite being quite heavy at almost 4kg, you won't experience difficulty moving it around furniture. Safety features like a sensor that alerts you to avoid stairs will be appreciated by parents with small children. Once charged it takes just a few hours to recharge and the two buttons on the top will flash in green to let you that it is ready for use.
Mova E30 Ultra
The Mova E30 Ultra is a robot vacuum cleaner that blends modern cleaning technology with affordability. It is a rival to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra and Roborock's Q Revo. Despite its price being lower it is worth the price. Mova E30 Ultra offers features that many more expensive models cannot compete with. It makes use of sensors to adjust its settings to different surfaces and floors as well as to identify areas that are less clean and ensure they get enough attention. It also moves at a an accelerated pace to avoid the destruction of furniture and walls.
You can also view the map of your home within the app. You can also mark certain rooms and objects you would like the vacuum to stay clear of. The device will slow down when it sees an obstacle and stop from bumping into it. The device is also equipped with an intelligent dustbin, which alerts you to its fullness so you can empty the bin at the right time.
The Mova E30 Ultra is an affordable option for anyone who wants to delegate their daily cleaning tasks. It's a robotic mop and vacuum that will clean your floors without needing to lift a single finger. It has a clever design which improves corner cleaning by up to 60%. It comes with a suction capacity of up to 7,000 Pa and RoboSwing arm, and is controlled by the app or voice assistants such as Alexa or Siri.
Beko RCV3
The Beko Robotic Vacuum/Mop RCV3 an elegant, feature-packed vacuum/mop. It does a great job of keeping floors neat and tidy. It can't lift its mop to clean carpets and rug, as does the Roborock S8 MaxV ultra, but it is very good at cleaning hard floors. It has a self emptying bin, a high degree of suction, a variety of mopping options, and a high-quality application that runs on iOS and Android.
It's a little smaller than most of the competitors and its main brush is smaller than most but it still did a great job of making short work of our test area easily. The brush that rotates on the side for edges is a nice touch and, while it didn't lift dirt off our carpets and carpets like some of the competitors, it did a very decent job overall.

It's easy to control using the app and a variety of voice output options will keep you informed of the state of your home robot. Regular updates to the software enhance and increase the performance. The application can be used to remotely manage the RCV3 even when you're away from home.
