It then can automatically alter its path and clean around them without missing a beat.

It's the most expensive of the three models I've examined, however, it's also the most loaded with features. Its sleek and angular design is eye-catching and it only has three physical buttons that include the power button which also resumes cleaning; a mop-only switch that doubles as a child lock; and a home button that can return the robot to its dock. The hinged lid opens up to reveal a 350ml dustbin and 200ml tank of water. The water tank automatically empties and the bin automatically refills.

The only issue I encountered to this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't removable. It is possible to change the mopping cloth if required, but it's a challenge to remove the mount for manual washing. I've noticed that any plush carpet that the robot passes will be in contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener mechanism on the mount, and could cause scratches.

The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart features, including support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app lets you manage and set up these smart features. It also contains maps and advanced mopping options. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and monitor the battery life and maintain your components.
