According to the New York Post, the affidavit states that Ibarra is also charged with preventing Riley from making or completing a 911 call with the intent to harm her when he allegedly snatched her during her run. The suspect faces eight charges, including felony murder, false imprisonment, and kidnapping and concealing the death of another.According to a new court affidavit obtained by Fox News, a Venezuelan migrant charged with murdering a nursing student identified as Laken Riley is said to have disfigured her skull with an unidentified object.
The affidavit also states that the suspect, Jose Antonio Ibarra, 26, who faces multiple charges, including murder and assault, is also accused of concealing the victim’s body in a secluded area. However, Ibarra is said to have not known the victim when he kidnapped and killed her as she went for a run on the University of Georgia Campus.
Authorities have not given specific details as to how Riley was killed, only that her death was caused by blunt force trauma. Further information about the type of object used or exactly how she was killed isn’t included in the affidavit.

Jordan's King Abdulah said during a visit to the White House, "We cannot afford an Israeli attack on Rafah... We cannot stand by and let this continue."

Israeli military spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Peter Lerner said the alternative to the ground assault "is to surrender to Hamas and sacrifice 134 people... That is not an option from the Israeli perspective." According to Israel, 253 Israelis and foreigners were kidnapped by Hamas during the attack on October 7th.
