The Crown of Lovingkindness – Journaling Prayer by LaWanda

LaWanda – O Jesus, my Jesus, thank you for your blood that was shed for me, that covers me and protects me. Thank you, Jesus, that you took the punishment for our sin on your body, Lord. O, how you must love us. Thank you, Jesus, my precious, precious, Lord.
________________________________________
I see you today, Lord, standing behind me. I am seated, thanking you, Lord for all you have done and will do. O Jesus, thank you that your lovingkindness never fails, that you will not allow it to fail. Your hands are so warm on my shoulders, Lord. It takes knowing you are with me to a whole different level as I feel your presence with every pulse of your heart. With every beat of your heart, your love flows into me. You move your hands and pick something up. I look back and see that it is a crown. It is the crown of lovingkindness and it is beautiful. I feel it as you place it on my head. How can it fit so perfectly, Lord? Like it is supposed to be there. Your left hand remains on my shoulder but the right hand is raised to the Father as you begin to bless me. With my whole heart I thank you, Lord. I bow my heart in awe and wonder as I hear you speak over me.

Jesus – LaWanda, My dear one, My precious, precious one. Hear Me now!
I am He who forgives all your iniquities.
I am He who heals all your diseases.
I am He who redeems your life from destruction.
I am He who satisfies your mouth with good things and renews your strength like the eagle’s.
I am He who crowns you with My lovingkindness.
Even now, receive My redemption.
Receive My forgiveness.
Receive My healing.

Receive My lovingkindness and all it entails: My goodness, My mercy, My grace, My faithfulness and My steadfast love and My devotion to you.

And remember, dear one, that all means ALL. ALL iniquities means ALL iniquities. ALL diseases means ALL diseases. Receive these My tender mercies, even now, dear one. And bless the One who has given them to you. Bless Me and forget not what I have done for you this day.

This crown is not something that you will remove, LaWanda. Wear it continually and as you interact with those around you, ask me… "Which part of Your lovingkindness do they need today, Lord?" And as you have freely received, so then freely give. I will bless and multiply each of these offerings given to me in this way. When you give mercy, you will receive mercy. When you give grace, you will receive grace. You will be blessed; they will be blessed and I will be honored.
One day you will lay this crown at My feet, dear one. But in the meantime, wear it and use it to glorify Me. My lovingkindness will never run out. Nor will the blessings that flow from you giving it away.
*************************************
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crown you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your strength is renewed like the eagle’s.” Psalm 103: 1-5

“Nevertheless, My lovingkindness I will not utterly take from him, nor allow My faithfulness to fail. My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.” Psalm 89:33-34

Troubles
MARCH 5, 2024

If children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.
Romans 8:17

Recommended Reading: Romans 8:31-35
Salesmen speak about the features and benefits of a product. What if one of the features described was suffering that resulted from using the product? Sometimes new Christians are surprised to discover that they still have troubles in life after becoming a follower of Jesus. They feel the “product” wasn’t presented fairly.

Jesus told His disciples that “in the world you will have tribulation” (John 16:33). That was not to scare them but to prepare them. Paul explained further: In Christ, we are “joint heirs” with Him. As “joint heirs,” one of the things we inherit is to “suffer with Him” that we might also share in His glory (Romans 8:17). Paul then spent the next 22 verses of Romans 8 (verses 18-39) explaining the suffering we may experience in this world but that in Christ we are “more than conquerors” (verse 37). God uses everything we experience—even our troubles—to conform us to the image of Christ (verses 28-29). Nothing in this world—not even our sins—can separate us from the love of God (verses 34-39).

Whether our troubles are from the world or of our own making, God is faithful. Give Him thanks today for His faithful love.

Shall light troubles make you forget weighty mercies?

The Greatest: Faithfulness
FEBRUARY 3, 2024

Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.
Lamentations 3:22-23

Recommended Reading: 2 Timothy 2:11-13
Mercy and grace are different. Grace means receiving blessings we don’t deserve; mercy means not receiving discipline or punishment we do deserve. While both grace and mercy are present throughout the Bible, in very general terms the Old Testament is the story of mercy, while the New Testament is the story of grace.

Why is the Old Testament the story of mercy? Because of how unfaithful Israel was to God and how faithful (loyal) He was to them. Israel deserved to be judged—and was judged at times—but God always restored them. His love never failed. As Jeremiah wrote when Jerusalem was destroyed by Babylon, “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed” permanently. God’s faithfulness was great; His compassion for Israel was renewed with the rising sun every morning. Paul highlighted God’s faithfulness when he wrote that even if we are unfaithful, God is faithful (2 Timothy 2:13).

Thank God today for His great faithfulness to you, that His mercy and compassion never fail. In spite of our sins, His mercy and grace are always present (1 John 1:9).

Great is Thy faithfulness! Morning by morning new mercies I see.

Symbols of the Season: Clock
DECEMBER 30, 2023

So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
Psalm 90:12

Recommended Reading: Matthew 25:1-13
Perhaps the most iconic New Year’s Eve celebration in America takes place every December 31, at midnight in Times Square in New York City. Known as the “ball drop,” the ceremony began on December 31, 1907. Starting at 11:59 p.m., a huge, lighted ball descends from above the street, reaching the ground exactly at midnight. The ceremony attracts one million revelers who gather to welcome the new year.

The passage of time—especially the end of one year and the beginning of another—reminds us that God’s timing in our life is perfect. Even when we welcome the end of a particularly trying year, we know God’s mercies are new every morning and that every new day, and year, is full of blessing and potential (Lamentations 3:22-24). We are also reminded to “watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming” (Matthew 25:13). We do not know the hour of His appearing, but the Father does (Mark 13:32).

As you welcome the new year, keep one eye turned toward heaven. The new year may see the return of Christ the King.

The great weight of eternity hangs upon the small wire of time.

I Am Not Working from a “To Do” List - Journaling Prayer by LaWanda

LaWanda – ♪♪ “Who is like you Lord in all the earth? Matchless beauty, endless worth. Nothing in this world will satisfy. Jesus you’re the cup that won’t run dry. O Jesus, O Jesus, your presence is heaven to me. O Jesus, O Jesus, your presence is heaven to me.” ♪♪ Thank you, Jesus, that you ARE the cup that won’t run dry.

How do I see you today, Lord? I see you walking, Lord, with a small group around you. You are walking at a moderate pace, not too slowly but not racing forward either. One person asks a question and then another. We all have something we want to know it seems, and of course, you are the One who can answer them all. You take each one and slowly engage the person asking as though to see the heart beneath the question. And when you answer, we all sigh and say, “Yes, of course” because we had that question, too, but did not ask it. And now we know the answer.

O Jesus, you know us so well. Thank you for your tender mercies, which are new every morning. O how I need them, Lord, and how grateful I am for them, precious Jesus. Thank you, Jesus, for loving me so. Thank you, Lord, that I was one of the “joys” set before you as you faced the Cross. Thank you for the Cross, Lord.
Jesus – LaWanda, dear one, my precious, precious one. My mercies ARE new every day and they are new every day for YOU! Can you imagine how desolate your heart would be if you came to me and I told you I was all out of mercy today? This will NEVER happen, for at the Cross, everything that needed to happen, happened. I meant it when I said, “It is Finished!” I am not working from a “to do list” of things I need to do. What I did on the Cross took care of everything. EVERYTHING. There is nothing you need that was not provided for through My work on the Cross, LaWanda. Once you accepted Me, EVERY need was satisfied. It is your job to call it down from heaven to earth. My Kingdom come My Will be done on earth as it ALREADY is in heaven. O LaWanda, step into My Glory as you surrender everything to Me. As I have said so many times before: Surrender is not the end. It is the beginning and where you always must start.

Precious one, just keep coming to the secret place and sit near Me. If you do, I will surely do My part and pour out the revelation-secrets of My promises to you. It is one thing to have My promises, which every believer does. It is another thing altogether to have the secrets of those promises revealed to you personally by the One who spoke them in the beginning. This is My will for you, dear one, for I cannot resist a surrendered heart laid down before Me.
Hear Me now, dear one…

“There’s a private place reserved for the lovers of God, who sit near Me and receive the revelation-secrets of My promises.” Psalm 25:14
"Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.” Isaiah 43:1

"I declare the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, 'My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose.” Isaiah 46;10

Yes, My dear one, I will accomplish my purpose in YOU and My counsel SHALL stand, INDEED!
