The present study applied the Social Antecedent Model of Psychopathology (SAMP) to identify factors present at hospital discharge associated with depressive symptoms at discharge and future symptoms at three- and six-months post-discharge home. METHOD 286 older adults aged over 65 (M = 78.38, SD = 7.68, 57% female) reported on a range of variables that were mapped to the SAMP at hospital discharge, three- and six-months post-discharge. RESULTS At baseline assessment, male gender, increased anxiety symptoms, low social support and low perceived coping ability were associated with concurrent baseline depressive symptoms. Depressive symptoms at baseline were strongly associated with future depressive symptoms at three- and six-months post-discharge. Low household physical activity was also associated with depressive symptoms at three-months and elevated baseline anxiety symptoms and low social support were associated with depressive symptoms at six-months post-discharge. https://www.selleckchem.com/products/filanesib.html CONCLUSION Pre-discharge screening of depressive and anxiety symptoms, social support, household physical activity and coping ability may assist in identifying elderly patients at risk of developing depressive symptoms during the hospital-to-home transition. To better understand its molecular basis, the precise identification of the detoxifying actors involved in CLX disposition and elimination would be useful, notably with respect to renal secretion known to play a notable role in CLX elimination. The present study was consequently designed to analyze the interactions of CLX with the solute carrier transporters organic anion transporter (OAT) 1 and OAT3, implicated in tubular secretion through mediating drug entry at the basolateral pole of renal proximal cells. CLX was first shown to block OAT1 and OAT3 activity in cultured OAT-overexpressing HEK293 cells. Half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50 ) value for OAT3 (13 µm) was however much lower than that for OAT1 (560 µm); clinical inhibition of OAT activity and drug-drug interactions may consequently be predicted for OAT3, but not OAT1. OAT3, unlike OAT1, was next shown to mediate CLX uptake in OAT-overexpressing HEK293 cells. Kinetic parameters for this OAT3-mediated transport of CLX (Km  = 10.7 µm) were consistent with a possible in vivo saturation of this process for high CLX plasma concentrations. OAT3 is consequently likely to play a pivotal role in renal CLX secretion and consequently in total renal CLX elimination, owing to the low plasma unbound fraction of the antibiotic. OAT3 genetic polymorphisms as well as co-administered drugs inhibiting in vivo OAT3 activity may therefore be considered as potential sources of CLX pharmacokinetics variability. © 2020 Société Française de Pharmacologie et de Thérapeutique.The aim of this study was to detect selection signatures considering cows from the German Holstein (GH) and the local dual-purpose black and white (DSN) population, as well as from generated sub-populations. The 4654 GH and 261 DSN cows were genotyped with the BovineSNP50 Genotyping BeadChip. The geographical herd location was used as an environmental descriptor to create the East-DSN and West-DSN sub-populations. In addition, two further sub-populations of GH cows were generated, using the extreme values for solutions of residual effects of cows for the claw disorder dermatitis digitalis. These groups represented the most susceptible and most resistant cows. We used cross-population extended haplotype homozygosity methodology (XP-EHH) to identify the most recent selection signatures. Furthermore, we calculated Wright's fixation index (FST ). Chromosomal segments for the top 0.1 percentile of negative or positive XP-EHH scores were studied in detail. For gene annotations, we used the Ensembl database and we considered a window of 250 kbp downstream and upstream of each core SNP corresponding to peaks of XP-EHH. In addition, functional interactions among potential candidate genes were inferred via gene network analyses. The most outstanding XP-EHH score was on chromosome 12 (at 77.34 Mb) for DSN and on chromosome 20 (at 36.29-38.42 Mb) for GH. Selection signature locations harbored QTL for several economically important milk and meat quality traits, reflecting the different breeding goals for GH and DSN. The average FST value between GH and DSN was quite low (0.068), indicating shared founders. For group stratifications according to cow health, several identified potential candidate genes influence disease resistance, especially to dermatitis digitalis. © 2020 Stichting International Foundation for Animal Genetics.in English, Spanish OBJETIVO La atención plena (mindfulness) está implicada en la psicopatología de los trastornos de la conducta alimentaria (TCA). Sin embargo, esta literatura no ha sido sintetizada a la fecha. El presente meta-análisis examinó las asociaciones entre la atención plena y la psicopatología de los TCA. MÉTODOS Se incluyeron un total de 74 muestras independientes (efectos = 576). Utilizamos un modelo de efectos aleatorios multinivel para estimar la síntesis de los tamaños de efecto por nivel de estudio, y los modelos de efecto mixto multinivel para examinar los efectos moderadores. RESULTADOS La atención plena fue asociada negativamente con la psicopatología de TCA (r = −.25, p  less then  .001), tanto concurrentemente (r = −.25, p  less then  .001) como prospectivamente (rs = −.22-−.24, ps  less then  .001). Las asociaciones fueron más fuertes para trastorno por atracón, alimentación emocional/externa, e insatisfacción corporal, así como también el actuar con conciencia y sin juzgar las facetas.
