World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

The upgrading of your items is a vital element of equipping your character. Upgrades increase item damage and the ability to enchant.

They also provide bonuses and enhancements. They can be purchased by contacting the Blacksmith.

Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each item recycled adds a level to the upgrade gauge.

Weapons

When the weapon is upgraded it gains a base damage bonus and a scaling factor that influences other stats. Certain upgrade components come with aesthetic effects while others give additional features. These upgrades can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools, and trinkets. The majority of them require that the item has an upgrade slot available and meets certain specifications. If a weapon piece features an upgrade component within it, the item can be upgraded with a different one, but the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be found with the help of a Black-Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool, or using a high-tier salvage tool on the item itself.

In addition to the basic upgrades, a weapon may be upgraded by adding a Calibration Attribute that improves certain stats such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This can be done through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. This can be repeated four times depending on the weapon level.

When the weapon reaches its maximum level of upgrade it can be modified to give different bonuses and effects, or to improve specific stats. Many of these upgrades can be used at once, and their effects differ based on the nature of the weapon.

Two Blacksmiths can perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the damage a weapon can cause.

In general, it's best to increase the damage of your weapon first. Then, you can upgrade your armor defense, and then those secondary stats required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon before upgrading any other equipment. This helps maximize DPS. This is especially applicable to enchantments that boost a weapon's stats and damage.

Armor

Item upgrades allow players to boost the effectiveness of certain armors, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools. These upgrades can also bring additional effects, for example, additional damage or a cosmetic enhancement. Item upgrades can be obtained through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, in loot drops or as rewards for quests.

The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most armor upgrades to the next level following an upgrade. This is possible for any type of armor, however certain items are not upgradeable at all (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island).

Most armor upgrades provide only a slight increase in an item's defense base or strength. However, some upgrade components can provide significant improvements in strength or defense, particularly when upgrading an item that is epic.

In addition to increasing the defense of an item, a few upgrades also give specific abilities that can be activated when wearing an armor. These abilities can be useful in combat, such as granting a buff to attack speed or blocking. Some upgrades have passive effects that are useful like decreasing damage when wearing armor or enhancing the chance to dodge an attack.

Upgrades to armor may require several attempts, depending on the type. For instance, if a player wanted to upgrade the strength of a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale the first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with the base defense of 59 and 67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with an initial defense of 67-77 and the list goes on.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains found in the game. Each of these locations contains a powerful fair who can change the quality of an item of armor for you.

Contrary to popular belief armor in The Division 2 is not useless. Certain armors give a substantial boost in the reduction of damage caused by poison or curse, magic or fire. This makes them very valuable for certain types of builds. There are other methods to improve armor stats besides upgrading armor, such as using the engineer attribute to increase armor penetration or the challenger to reduce the total weight.

Potion

A potion can be upgraded by placing it in the brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks another tier of potion effects, and is able to be repeated for more potencies.

The potion also gets a custom color code which the player can choose via /give, and that affects area-of-effect clouds and arrows created by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color also affects the particle effects of the potions.

The water bottle, the mundane and thick potions and difficult potions, now have a new the texture of brewing. Add potion of weakness and potion of healing in Creative inventory. In addition, there are lingering potions which can be brewed using Dragon breath or splash potions. Also added is a potent potion that has the status effect Mining Fatigue. Problems related to this update are maintained on the Bug Tracker.

Trinket

A trinket is an inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It could be a necklace, ring, or even a small flag that is used to mark a boat's lateen yard. It can also refer to a gold-plated trinket on the mast of a ship.
