Not sure why Smith's nose was giving off a signal, maybe chemtrails we are breathing in? I've seen him use his device on several people now, and it seems to be using frequency, magnets, and 150 proof rum to remove nanotech from the body.

I do believe that HumanSheeple is onto something, he's an electrical engineer and has taken an approach I've not seen done elsewhere.
