There's a great old analogy that compares Conservatives to Progressives by asking the question, 'Would you rather be punched in the right eye or the left eye'? That may still be a good analogy after the election, but for now, it should read 'Would you rather be punched in the right eye or stabbed with an ice pick in the left eye?'.
