Is Melania ready to step back into the spotlight? Former First Lady makes TWO glamorous appearances with Trump at back-to-back gala events at Mar-a-Lago - after retreating from the public eye following move to Florida.

* Her appearances come amid reports that Trump is planning to run for President again in 2024 - suggesting the couple may be gearing up for his campaign

Melania Trump is once again embracing the spotlight after months of shying away from the public eye - making not one, but two glamorous appearances on her husband Donald Trump's arm at back-to-back gala events over the weekend.

The 51-year-old has maintained a relatively low profile since relocating to Florida in January of this year, when her husband's presidency came to an end, however she now appears ready to reemerge onto the social stage.

Last week, the former First Lady attended two events at Mar-a-Lago with her husband, 75, who has hinted on several occasions that he is planning to run for President once again in 2024.

The couple's very public displays of solidarity came just days before Trump told Fox News that he is 'certainly thinking about' mounting a 2024 bid - although he hinted that he is waiting to see if Democrats' poor performance will continue in 2022 before confirming his campaign.

'I think a lot of people will be very happy, frankly, with the decision, and probably will announce that after the midterms,' he said.

Melania Trump made two glamorous appearances on her husband, Donald Trump's arm last week, after months of being practically M.I.A.

The first event - an America First Policy Institute fundraiser - took place at Trump's Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, on November 4

Sources told CNN in September that being the First Lady again was 'not what Melania wants.'

'Being First Lady again is not what she wants. For her, it was a chapter - and it's over, and that's that,' an insider said.

However, their joint attendance at the two events adds to speculation that Trump is going to run again in 2024, and shuts down rumors that his wife isn't too keen on the idea.

Two days later, the couple attended the Spirit of Lincoln Gala, which was also at the Mar-a-Lago club, and honored Melania with the Spirit of Lincoln Award.

The Log Cabin Republicans normally hold the event every year in Washington D.C., but specifically moved it to Trump's club in Mar-a-Lago this year - just so Melania could come.

While accepting the award, Melania gave a hopeful speech. She said, 'As I look around the room, the word "courage" comes to mind. It is the courageous spirit within each of you that has brought us together this evening and it is the courageous spirit of Abraham Lincoln, which gives us our guiding light today.'

The former president, 75, stood by her side during the event, and when she went up to accept her award, he watched with an adoring look on his face.

Melania has taken a big step back from the spotlight since Trump's presidency came to an end. She's only been seen at events a handful of times, while her husband has continued to make regular appearances.

Her last public outing was on October 30, when she joined Trump at a World Series game between the Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros.

The sporting event marked the first time Melania had been seen in public since July, when she was spotted leaving the Trump Tower in New York City with their son Barron - and the first time she had been seen with her husband since April.

Hours after the baseball game, Trump hosted a star-studded Halloween bash at his Mar-a-Lago resort, and people were quick to notice that Melania was no where to be seen.

Back in January, when she and her husband first flew to Florida from Washington D.C., Melania made headlines when she refused to stop and pose for the waiting photographers upon their arrival. Instead, she stalked away from them without so much as a wave while her husband smiled for pictures.

Several sources told CNN in February that she was spending much of her time at day spas.

'She goes to the spa, has lunch, goes to the spa (again) and has dinner with Donald on the patio,' one source told the network.

Another source said: 'It is not unusual for Trump to spend several hours a day there [at the spa], enjoying the benefits at her disposal, often going twice in a 24-hour period, for massages, nail care, facial treatments, or other items on the menu.'

The sources both said that 'the former First Lady has mentally all but left Washington behind, unlike her husband.'
