Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized using a specialized application. You can save maps of your house, create cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.

A mapping feature aids your robot navigate through rooms while an obstacle avoidance feature prevents it from running into furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These are must-have features in my house, stuffed with toys that are scattered about.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the company's flagship vacuum and mop, is loaded with features. It's able to sweep and mop in one session, and it can even raise its brushes and mop pads to prevent soft surfaces from getting too damp. It also can avoid obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants, and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum's maximum suction power is 6,600 pascals. This is the highest power of any robot vacuum we have tested to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad of over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. https://click4r.com/posts/g/18697786/a-brief-history-of-robot-vacuum-with-mop-history-of-robot-vacuum-with features an automatic mop lifting mechanism, that will raise the pad as it moves from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpet and rugs to avoid soaking these types of soft surfaces.

In addition to this it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be rinsed and dried in the dock and the dust container is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means you can put it away and forget about it, and only need to change the dust bag or refill the water tank occasionally.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I tested it with its normal mop and vac settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and returned to its base for a recharge. This is within the range of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids that I've test.

This is a very well-rounded and capable product, with the only downside being the fact that it's pricey. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a tempting alternative for anyone who wishes to get rid of their old stick vacuums and mop. If you can justify the hefty price tag we recommend you check this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum. The price is justified by the powerful features, which include a massive vacuuming capability, as well as two gyrating mop heads. It also has a smart, app-enabled controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is one of the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combos available. In my tests, it did very well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all floor types and managing to lift hair that is long without getting caught in. The mops also performed admirably, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement and an effective dose of cleaning solution.

The docking station is the real selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station empties the trash bin into a bag to collect dirt, then refills the water tank for mopping and even dries your mop pads. It also comes with a real-time safety detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions with its smart controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance when compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tried. Additionally it's not as capable at scrubbing away stubborn stains as those found in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant odors, the base unit, dustbag, and water tanks need to be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. The mop pads sold separately will also require changing regularly.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey cost and robust features, I would recommend it to anyone who has the funds for it. For those who are on a smaller budget, I suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money while still enjoying hands-free cleaning at your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best robot mop and vacuum you could buy, its high cost and frequent maintenance will make it more of a want than need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet mess then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop set-up is a mighty 8,000 Pa suction power. It also has an enormous battery capacity that can be used for both vacuuming as well as mowing. And it is equipped with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It even comes with mop rollers that clean itself while moving, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-cleaning to clean the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. The roller is almost the entire width of the robot, and it is supplied with a continuous supply of fresh water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Any dry debris is removed using the side brushes or swept into the front bumper. The S1 Pro removes the dirty mop water in its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank's heater elements, and then it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The onboard tank holds plenty of water, and it can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do most robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This is easily accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, if you prefer to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you decide to use this feature, however, you will be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaners.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map the area and was able to navigate around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with larger piles a couple of times during my tests. However it could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, and it still offers some impressive features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing mop pads as it goes. The mopping system is capable of cleaning a large portion of a space before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction is capable of picking up debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is dense, and offers a variety of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually clean all areas that this device maps or choose individual rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've developed. There are a number of mopping options that include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the mops' sensors to find the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the space.

Like all Roborock models we've evaluated The Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is solid that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in an organized way. Its "Normal" pathing settings cover a room well, without any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, however it's not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify the dangers of carpets that are thick but it might not always detect small things such as rug tassels or electrical wires.

This device has a major problem: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app offers a feature that allows you to "clean up" at the conclusion of each vacuuming session. This allows you to use the mopping function of the vacuum to eliminate the last traces of dust and debris that are left behind by the vacuuming. This is a great feature that helps this robot keep its cleanness a bit higher than its competitors with lower prices.
