Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are getting more efficient. They pass our tests on cleaning and can handle a variety of flooring. Choose models that permit you to select between a variety of modes, self-empty and clean stairs.
A lot of the top models work with smartphones. Check for an app that allows you to save maps, schedules and select cleaning options.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set up schedules and modify the behavior of the S1.
When I tested the S1, it was quick to map the downstairs area, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, plus medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was capable of driving up to walls and even over thresholds that are raised without issue. However, it had some difficulty navigating down the stairs in one go. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and raised itself when it came to carpets or rug.
The docking station on the S1 automatically empties its dust bin and refills its water tank on board with clean, ozonated water before each mopping session. The dock adds a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for about 12 cleaning sessions before it needs to be empty, but this can vary based the amount you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to keep it working efficiently. To do this, you'll need to rinse out the dirty water tank occasionally to prevent it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them becoming blocked by dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a powerful option for cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum boasts 8700Pa of suction and comes with numerous innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that avoids obstructions and cleans furniture. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it, rather than simply drag a pad across a surface. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station when needed.
This robot has an easy interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are two water tanks which are automatically emptied or refilled. It also comes with a variety of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, with strong suction that easily picks up all kinds of debris, including the tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty robust, however it is sometimes hung up on the small carpets or area mats that I have in my house (which is something you can control by creating a virtual boundary within the app). The mopping feature is pretty good as well, with two spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub floors, instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. However, their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results and is simple to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the top mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition, and an extended side brush will give you a thorough, customised clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing large and small particles from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease by avoiding pet hairs as well as other messes. The sweeping performance of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that automatically swings out in order to reach hard-to-reach areas, and a mop pad that extends along baseboards.
Its navigation is nimble that can navigate narrow spaces and climbing stairs without skipping a beat. It can move from one room to another without having to reverse direction. This is useful for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than its competitors however, and tends to leave a thick space around obstacles, which could result in missed spots.
The interface of the app is simple and well-organized. It should be easy to use by both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings, alter mopping and suction power settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You'll require a reliable Wi-Fi connection to operate it through the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
A robot vacuum does an excellent job of removing debris and dirt but it's not always able to reach every last bit of dust. It's essential to clean your home frequently, every week. This is especially important for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves, and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed specifically for this purpose. It's simple to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your daily cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's more expensive S-series models. It includes the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's less expensive because it doesn't have mopping capabilities and comes with a plastic body.
The Q5 is one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've seen in this price range even though it's not able to clean your floor. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system so you don't need to empty the bin by hand each time. It comes with a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning and set the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling and washing system to allow hands-free operation.
The mops also stand out, with a 2700Pa capacity to take on pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested to not have problems with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it did not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise, since it does NOT include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we have tested, it also uses a unique system to map your home. https://fkwiki.win/wiki/Post:Ten_Things_You_Learned_In_Kindergarden_Thatll_Help_You_With_Robotic_Hoovers will allow it to enter corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. It also collects dust in a larger bin which means you have to empty it less often. Additionally, it has washable filters, which reduces the cost of using the device. The robot is able to detect carpets and increase suction if necessary. You can also mark areas you want to keep out of the app.
