Robots That Vacuum and Mop

Robots that vacuum and mop offer the convenience of cleaning both dry debris (dust, dirt) and wet messes (spills or stains) in one session without having to swap out devices. They can also help save storage space compared to having two separate units, especially in smaller living spaces.

A good combination bot will provide excellent navigation and obstacles avoidance. Look for models that have docks that let them automatically empty their bins, replenish their water tanks and machine-wash the mopping pads.

1. Eufy S1 Pro

It's one of the easiest robots to set up that we've ever tested. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and the quick-start guide will get you running with a clean, complete dust bag, floor solution for hard floors and water tank in no time at all.

The S1 Pro is a powerful small machine that can mops up a storm and also vacuums well. https://telegra.ph/How-To-Save-Money-On-Robot-Vacuum-And-Mop-12-09 are spun at a high speed and utilize 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to swiftly remove dirt, pet hair and sticky dried spills. The vacuum cleaner comes with four power settings, a variety of attachments and brushes and an intuitive app that lets you select the type of cleaning you want for each room.

For instance, you could decide to let the robot do a deep clean in the kitchen and living rooms but take it easy in the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and its smart navigation technology are excellent too as the robot is able to detect tiny obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. Its only issue is that it tends to hit walls and objects at full speed. However, a quick look at the history of cleaning on the app will show you exactly what the robot has done, where it is moving, and what obstacles it has encountered or avoided.

A handy LCD screen on the docking station informs the maintenance tasks that must be completed including emptying the debris tray, and cleaning the dirty water tank. It can also mix detergent into the water tank in a controlled manner with a 600ml of eufy solution.

Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop have plenty of run-time, with the mop capable of running for an 184-minute runtime in Quiet mode and the vacuum able to do 136 minutes in normal mode, before needing to recharge or return to the base to refill. You can view the entire cleaning information in the app, which is intuitively laid out and is easy to comprehend, though we would like to be able to distinguish between a mop only vacuum and a vacuum/mop clean when examining a cleaned area in the history of cleaning.

2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the most recent version of Roborock's most popular robot vacuum and mop, is the most recent version. The model this year has an agitator that doubles as its mopping pad. This enhances the carpet cleaning capabilities of this model. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction power that enables it to pick up smaller hairs as well as other debris other robotic cleaners may miss.

Like the other two Roborock models I've tried the S8 Pro Ultra has a reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology which help to avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things an extra step by adding a dual camera which can detect objects and decide whether they are a wall or another type of surface. It then can alter its course automatically and clean around the objects, without missing a step.

It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed, however, it's also the most feature-packed. Its sleek, angular design is eye catching and only has three buttons that are physically accessible. The power button, which also restarts the cleaning mop button, which doubles as a child lock and a home-button that can bring the robot to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid reveals 350ml of dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank will empty itself and the bin is auto-refilling.

The only issue I have discovered with this model was that the VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. While you can replace the mopping cloth (if necessary) but it's a challenge to remove the mount to wash manually. I've found any plush carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on the mounts, which can cause abrasions.

The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart features that include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app lets you manage and configure these features. It also contains maps and advanced mopping options. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and track the battery's life. You'll need to jump through some hoops to activate voice control on this model. This is a shame considering how well-performing it is otherwise.

The Dreame X40 robot vacuum and mop is a leader in the industry with innovative features, superior suction power, and advanced mowing abilities. Its intelligent design allows you to customize and efficiently clean while saving time.

The robot is also able to reach under furniture with low profile which makes it a great choice for small apartments or condos. The side brush tilts automatically down when it spots wet spots. This is a wonderful feature that helps the X40 to prevent damage to floors from excessive back-and forth movements.

Contrary to other robots which solely focus on one task, the X40 can perform both vacuuming and mopping at the same time or separately. It can also be programmed to eliminate areas with carpets and mop only hard floors, or reverse the process. It can be controlled via the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure that voice-controlled operations are smooth and easy.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's among the most expensive on the market, but it packs in numerous additional features that distinguish it from. The mops are equipped with a new feature called Smart DuoScrub that makes use of two mops with high-speed motors to clean floors more thoroughly than the conventional method, and it comes with an impressive suction power of 7,000Pa. This is more than that of the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni and can remove pet hair and small dirt particles - and also pick up spills and wet spots.

The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station each time they are used. This is an excellent feature because it prevents the growth of odours and mould in storage, and it also makes the mop system a lot more efficient. This is an option we haven't seen on other robot vacuum and mop models. It could be a great way to keep your home clean longer.

There are many options, including the option to schedule cleaning times and adjust preferences. The app allows you to make these settings or you can utilize the buttons on the device itself. The app is simple to use and offers a variety of options for customizing your cleaning routine. It also offers many features that aren't offered on other robots, such as the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction whenever it detects dust particles.

The L20 Ultra is also one of the most fashionable robots we've seen in the market, sporting metallic and white design that is elegant and stylish. It is a little heavier at 4kg than some of the other robots on this listing, but it's still not excessively heavy. It feels solid and well-built. The mopping system is well designed and the double-rotating mop works well on hard floors or in corners. The MopExtend feature lets them reach even 2mm below the baseboards.
