A DELICATE LITTLE TAP DANCE
-A Prelude to World War III?-

In today's discussion on Redacted, Clayton Morris describes the White House's Press Secretary response to the question of the range of missiles that might shortly be sent to Ukraine as a "delicate little tap dance" to avoid giving a clear answer to the question. Perhaps these missiles will only be powerful enough to be used on the Eastern part of Ukraine's battlefield and not be a threat to Russia. Does this sound all that rational?

Russia, on the other hand, affirms that the sending of arms to Ukraine can be interpreted as an engagement that could result in retaliation on the soil of the provocateur, not on Ukraine directly. This suggests the possible use of nuclear weapons against the United States.

Much of mass media and the American Congress (but not all) have spoken of the necessity of dealing with Russia's attack on an innocent and sovereign country, now, in particular, showing no real concern over the dangers of a confrontation that could end the Earth as we know it.

As Russia has made clear, allowing countries bordering on Russia to join NATO, with its all-for-one policy, is a danger to Russia comparable to the major concerns of the United States when weapons were being shipped to Cuba, setting up a close-range nuclear threat.

to a rational mind, Mutually Insured Insanity, is an unthinkable policy from the very beginning- as was the development of these cruel and unthinkable weapons in the first place. Believing this- and observing the seemingly absurd obliviousness to planetary destruction overe a military Mexican stand-off game- one has to wonder what the motive might be? Could it be that some obscure and somewhat clearly hidden puppeteers want this to happen?
