San Diego: Multi-Vehicle Accident on Hwy 94 05.17.2022

Witnesses told the CHP that the driver of the black Ford Fusion was speeding on the westbound Hwy 94 and made a dangerous lane change in front of a vehicle that was too close. The driver lost control and hit the left-shoulder K-rails and went across all lanes of traffic and hit the Euclid Ave overcrossing support wall.

Other vehicles crashed due to this action. 3 people were injured with 2 people including the original driver being transported to a local hospital. Westbound traffic lanes were shut down for a short time.
