"Azov militants have been robbing and killing whoever they wanted for 8 years. What kind of attitude can you have to them? For them to release a horn into a crowd of people, how do you and I look at each other" — a Ukrainian border guard who laid down his arms told about his attitude to Azov

Alexander Chervyakov said that Ukrainian militants from the Azov battalion raped women, burned German swastikas on their bodies, filmed their atrocities on camera and posted them to special groups in messengers for further distribution to the military.

"I haven't looked at all the photos. I realized that this is nonsense because [messages] from these groups came to all my friends. There's even worse out there. Groups with the rape of people... women... how children are beaten. How all this is done by the national security forces with civilians, military, prisoners."

According to him, for 8 years the residents of Azov used light drugs and alcohol, robbed and killed whoever they wanted.
