Code 95 is required for truck drivers who wish to work professionally in Europe. This document is also required for drivers from Ukraine and other non EU countries.

Costs

Professional driving abilities are becoming increasingly important in a world where there is a great value on transport for economic growth as well as for the movement of goods and people. However, the process of acquiring this skill is not affordable. You must consider a variety of costs, including the cost of training and the exam. For truck drivers needing the Code 95 certificate is necessary for trucks weighing more than 7.5 tons in Europe. The certificate has to be added to a driver's licence category C or C+E, and is valid for five years. The certificate can be added to C1 or C1E licences, which allows the driver to drive with lighter trailer combinations.

You must pass a psychological test and medical exam to be eligible for an Code 95 Certificate. After the course is completed, you will be issued an official plastic Code 95 Certificate that can be inserted in your driving license. The course fee includes a medical exam, PKZ service and payment for the plastic Code 95 Certificate.

The cost of the Code 95 Certificate is the same as other types of driving courses. To be able to provide a training course that issues Code 95, you must adhere to certain guidelines as trainer. First, you must submit a plan of instruction to the CBR. This plan must be endorsed by the CBR before classes begin. You will also need to adhere to a variety of other strict rules during the course.

You will receive an acknowledgement from the CBR once you completed the course successfully. Then, you can forward this to the RDW. The RDW will then allow you to renew your license at the municipality after you have submitted your application successfully. If you do not renew your license before the expiry date, you will not be allowed to drive professionally more than 12 hours a week. You'll have to take another training course if want to drive for more than 12 hours a week again.

Exams

In order to obtain the code 95 indication on your licence you must pass both the theoretical and practical tests. These exams can be taken independently or in conjunction with the acquisition of a basic category license at driving school. After passing the exams, you'll receive a certificate and code 95 card. The card is valid for 5 years and has to be renewed prior to the expiration date.

You will receive a certification from both your instructor and CBR after you have completed the course. The CBR will inform the RDW that you have completed your training.

A digital tachograph is required for vehicles with a weight of more than 3,500 kg. The tachograph records driving times and breaks and saves them on a tachograph. To operate a truck you must have a driver's licence C. This is the most extensive driver's licence in Europe.
