Thousands packed Ted Everett's Farm Equipment Facility on Indiana 39 to voice opposition to mandates as the People's Convoy makes its way to the nation's capital. Guest speakers at Wednesday's rally included Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita, U.S. Freedom Flyers founder Josh Yoder, Dr. Ryan Cole of the Front Line Critical Care Alliance and Tyler Lee, a congressional candidate from Charlotte, North Carolina. Co-organizer Brian Brase also stepped onto the stage to describe the purpose of the convoy. “The People’s Convoy” travels to Washington D.C. with plans to arrive there on March 5. On Tuesday the convoy stopped at Ted Everett Farm Equipment on Highway 39 prior to a Wednesday evening rally before continuing its cross country road trip on Thursday. The convoy is made up of semi truck drivers protesting government overreach, including mandates. The convoy started in California on February 23 with plans to arrive in the D.C. area on March 5. The group plans to hold a peaceful protest near the capital city on Saturday and has sworn not to disrupt roads or bridges like their Canadian counterparts did. Organizers have promised a '100% safe, lawful and peaceful journey' that will 'terminate in the vicinity of the D.C. area, but will NOT be going into D.C. proper.'
