Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the power of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations used.
For instance, the top shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item like armor, weapon or rings. This replaces the item with another of the same kind however with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. They don't preserve the original level of the item, and any resources wasted will not be refunded.
The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or bought from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of a piece equipment for example, increasing its damage.
Players can reroll their equipment using three categories that include physical power, magical power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage that weapons and melee attacks while spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give players an additional level of health.
There are three kinds of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To make them, you require a higher level token for rerolling. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next Success result is rerolled. This is a way to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of every Preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they display a full description and the icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
During the course of a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of chosen Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls, and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that can increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he is able to hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity and rarity, the upgrade process could take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process is risk-free and does not affect the item's longevity. This makes it an excellent way for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without straining their bank accounts. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for novice players. There are many methods to get the stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will be upgraded to an upgrade to a higher level. This process can continue until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items with upgraded base stats will display an icon of blue in their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components cannot be stacked with one another, and can only be added to a single item at a time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a particular amount of items to be applied in addition to an initial level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left is where players can place an item to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when a player has sufficient materials will start the upgrading process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum level, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. When a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will have discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools to give an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained through quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain stats on weapons and armor they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the type of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide added effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources within the game, such as crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or dropped from dungeons. Upgrades can boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components have additional modifiers which can further improve the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. The dps "Wildfire" however increases damage from weapons.
Some items are better off being upgraded not so much for their improved stats and more because it allows players to get the most value out of a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
When you select an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show an in-game window that lists the required requirements. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
If you've fulfilled the conditions for upgrading The game will then place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will be updated to show how close to completing it. You can also check on the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
