Does neutrality attract God’s promises and provisions in ANY area of my life?

I recently noticed that the Bible lists many things God LOVES and many things God HATES, but nothing He is neutral about.

It made me wonder, “Does being neutral attract anything from God?"
The only verse I could come up with that might be alluding to being neutral was, “Because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth" (Rev. 3:16).

This last week at a conference one of the participants took me aside and asked if I could list for him the value of speaking in tongues, as he was neutral about whether he should press in to receive the gift of speaking in tongues.

So off the top of my head, I recited the reasons tongues were valuable
1. It is your spirit praying
2. Your spirit is speaking directly to God, unhindered by your mind
3. You are building yourself up
4. 1000 surveyed pastors in England who spoke in tongues were found to be more emotionally solid than those who did not speak in tongues
5. Paul said, “earnestly pursue” spiritual gifts

He was convinced and satisfied, and when I checked with him the following morning, sure enough, he had someone pray for him for the baptism in the Holy Spirit and he had received tongues!
We must get beyond neutral to experience God's promises
So YAY. Getting beyond neutral to a love and passion for the gifts and blessings of God is what opens us up to receive those blessings.

I had already come to this conclusion when it came to certain of God’s promised provisions in my life, but I have never applied this truth to money. I know Jesus became poor so I could become rich (2 Cor. 8:9), and thus I had moved from the scorn of money to becoming “neutral” about money, and was just wondering if I needed to develop a positive passion for this promised gift. We always LOVE the GIVER of the gifts more than the gifts that He gives us, however He died on the Cross to give us 12 benefits, and I sure don't think Jesus was neutral when He died. He was passionate in His love for us, so I assume a passionate love back for each of these amazing gifts is the LEAST I can do.
Maybe what “magnetizes” us so we attract things, is “strong emotions, love, conviction, passion.” Maybe once we have this emotional content intact within us, we draw things toward us. Maybe that is why God appears to have never recommended neutrality. Hmm.

1. Lord, do You want me to have a love for Your gift of financial abundance in my life?
2. Lord, since emotions are byproducts of the pictures I gaze upon, what picture(s) do You want me to meditate upon that will inspire passionate emotion for this gift of wealth?
3. Do You ever want me to be neutral?

Former NPR Editor Exposes Station’s Rampant Bias


(TargetDailyNews.com) – Uri Berliner has shaken up the offices at National Public Radio with an essay on Substack that says his former employer has lost its way politically. Berliner’s explosive article paints a picture that confirms what many former NPR listeners have long believed, that the broadcaster is captured by extreme left “woke” politics.
Fox News analyst Juan Williams said nothing in Berliner’s essay surprised him. NPR fired Williams 14 years ago after he made commentary on Fox News that rubbed the liberal public broadcaster the wrong way. Williams remarked that in the aftermath of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks, seeing plane passengers in “Muslim garb” made him uncomfortable.
Williams made a guest appearance on the Ingram Angle with host Laura Ingraham and recounted what his firing was like. He said he didn’t think of himself as a “wild-eyed conservative,” but that NPR could not tolerate any commentary outside its preferred political lens. “Not only did they fire me—they called me a psycho,” Williams told Ingram.

AS YOU MIGHT BE AWARE, YE HAS BEEN VOCAL ABOUT HIS DISPLEASURE WITH THE SPLIT EVER SINCE KIM — WHO FILED FOR DIVORCE FROM HIM LAST FEBRUARY — BEGAN DATING HER NOW-BOYFRIEND, PETE DAVDISON, IN LATE OCTOBER.

SHORTLY AFTER KIM AND PETE WERE SPOTTED OUT TOGETHER FOLLOWING THEIR JOINT SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE APPEARANCE THAT MONTH, YE PUBLICLY DISMISSED THE DIVORCE ENTIRELY, CLAIMING THAT HE’D “NEVER EVEN SEEN” THE LEGAL PAPERS IN AN INTERVIEW EARLY NOVEMBER.

HE WENT ON TO MAKE A SERIES OF GRAND GESTURES IN A BID TO WIN KIM BACK IN SPITE OF HER NEW RELATIONSHIP WITH PETE, INCLUDING BEGGING HER TO “RUN RIGHT BACK” TO HIM ONSTAGE AT HIS CONCERT IN DECEMBER.

AND THINGS HAVE ONLY ESCALATED THIS YEAR, WITH YE REPEATEDLY CALLING BOTH PETE AND KIM OUT OVER A SERIES OF SINCE-DELETED INSTAGRAM POSTS. HE NOTABLY TOOK AIM AT HIS EX’S PARENTING STYLE, SLAMMING HER FOR ALLOWING THEIR ELDEST DAUGHTER, NORTH, 8, TO HAVE AN ACCOUNT ON TIKTOK THAT IS MANAGED BY KIM.



IN FACT, THE SUBJECT OF RAISING THEIR FOUR CHILDREN — NORTH, SAINT, CHICAGO, AND PSALM — HAS BEEN A HUGE SOURCE OF CONTENTION THROUGHOUT THEIR RELATIONSHIP AND SINCE THEIR SPLIT, WITH THE TWO OFTEN CLASHING OVER THEIR DIFFERENT METHODS OF PARENTING.

IN HER ONLY STATEMENT ADDRESSING THE MATTER SO FAR, KIM ACTUALLY CALLED YE OUT FOR "CONSTANT ATTACKS" LAST MONTH AFTER HE DENOUNCED HER FOR ALLOWING NORTH ON TIKTOK. "KANYE'S OBSESSION WITH TRYING TO CONTROL AND MANIPULATE OUR SITUATION SO NEGATIVELY AND PUBLICLY IS ONLY CAUSING FURTHER PAIN FOR ALL," SHE WROTE.

YE CONTINUED TO REFER TO KIM AS HIS “WIFE” AS RECENTLY AS LAST MONTH WHILE SHARING A SERIES OF PRIVATE MESSAGES HE’D RECEIVED FROM HER. IN THE APPARENT TEXTS, THE BEAUTY MOGUL EXPRESSED FEAR FOR PETE’S SAFETY AND URGED HER EX TO STOP ENCOURAGING HIS FANS TO “SCREAM” AT HIM IN PUBLIC — WHICH CAME ABOUT AFTER HE’D CALLED THE ACTOR “SKETE,” “TRASH,” AND A “DICKHEAD” ONLINE.

THE RAPPER ALSO SHARED A TEXT HE’D RECEIVED FROM PETE HIMSELF, IN WHICH THE COMIC SEEMINGLY MADE IT CLEAR THAT HE WASN’T GOING TO COME BETWEEN YE AND HIS CHILDREN.

LAST WEEK, AN LA COURT DECLARED KIM “LEGALLY SINGLE” FOLLOWING A LONG-WINDED BATTLE WITH YE, WHO REPORTEDLY SPENT MONTHS REFUSING TO SIGN DOCUMENTS GRANTING HER THE LEGAL STATUS. HOURS LATER, THE RAPPER RELEASED A DISTURBING MUSIC VIDEO FOR HIS SONG “EAZY” THAT SEES A CARICATURE-LIKE FIGURE OF YE KIDNAPPING, DECAPITATING, AND BURYING A CARTOON VERSION OF PETE.

AND IN A NEW POEM — OR POSSIBLY, SONG LYRICS — SHARED DAYS LATER, YE REFLECTED ON THE SPLIT FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE THE NEWS OF KIM’S NEW LEGAL STATUS, GIVING FANS MORE INSIGHT INTO HOW HE’S COPING WITH THE SEPARATION.

IN THE PIECE, WHICH IS SEEMINGLY TITLED DIVORCE, YE COMPARES HIS FEELINGS DURING THE SPLIT TO “FULL BLOWN COVID” AND “WALKING ON GLASS.”

“DIVORCE FEELS LIKE FULL BLOWN COVID / DIVORCE FEELS LIKE YOUR DOCTOR DON’T KNOW SHIT / DIVORCE FEELS LIKE [YOU’RE] WALKING ON GLASS,” YE WRITES.

HE THEN LIKENS THE SPLIT TO “RUNNING THROUGH A GLASS WALL,” BEING “BULLIED IN A CLASS HALL,” AND “GETTING BEAT UP IN THE MALL.”

HE CONTINUES, “DIVORCE FEELS LIKE HEAVY BREATHING / DIVORCE FEELS LIKE GRANDMA NEVER GOT OVER THAT COLD / DIVORCE FEELS LIKE SUFFOCATING / BARELY BREATHING.”

“DIVORCE FEELS LIKE YOU’RE RECEIVING A SPIRITUAL BEATING EVERY EVENING / DIVORCE FEELS LIKE YOU WORKED OVERTIME ALL WEEK AND YOU AIN’T ALLOWED OFF FOR THE WEEKEND,” HE ADDS.

YE DESCRIBES FEELING “BROKEN INTO A THOUSAND PIECES” AND, IN THE NEXT LINE, BEING “SET ON FIRE FOR YOUR TRUTH THEN LABELED A LIAR" BEFORE GOING ON TO DESCRIBE FEELING LIKE HE “CAN’T BREATHE” AS A RESULT OF THE SPLIT.

“DIVORCE FEELS LIKE YOU CAN’T SIT OR STAND / DIVORCE FEELS LIKE YOU CAN’T BREATHE / DIVORCE FEELS LIKE YOU CAN’T STAY OR LEAVE,” HE WRITES.

HE ADDS, “WHO ARE YOU TO HAVE AN OPINION ON YOUR OWN LIFE / YOU ARE NOT YOU ANYMORE / YOU ARE WHAT’S LEFT OF YOU.”

THIS MOST RECENT POST COMES JUST WEEKS AFTER YE DEBUTED LYRICS FROM HIS LATEST ALBUM, DONDA 2, ONSTAGE AT A LISTENING EVENT IN MIAMI.

THE ALBUM’S PREDECESSOR, DONDA (RELEASED IN AUGUST), GAVE SIGNIFICANT INSIGHT INTO THE DISSOLUTION OF YE AND KIM’S MARRIAGE, SO FANS WEREN’T SURPRISED TO HEAR DONDA 2 WILL LIKELY DOCUMENT YE’S FEELINGS SINCE THE SPLIT.

IN THE FIRST SONG ON DONDA 2, TITLED “SECURITY,” YE SEEMINGLY ADDRESSED A SPAT HE HAD WITH KIM IN JANUARY OVER THEIR DAUGHTER CHICAGO’S FOURTH BIRTHDAY ARRANGEMENTS. AT THE TIME, IN A SERIES OF VIDEOS POSTED ONLINE, YE CLAIMED THAT HE HAD NOT BEEN INVITED TO THE BIRTHDAY PARTY AND THAT HE “WASN’T ALLOWED” TO KNOW WHERE IT WAS. HE ALSO APPARENTLY ACCUSED THE KARDASHIAN FAMILY OF “TAKING THE FATHERS OUT THE HOMES PURPOSELY.”

DAYS PRIOR TO THE BIRTHDAY PARTY, YE CLAIMED IN AN INTERVIEW THAT SECURITY GUARDS AT KIM’S HOUSE HAD DENIED HIM ACCESS TO HIS CHILDREN, ALLEGING THAT “THE NEW BOYFRIEND” — AKA PETE — WAS INSIDE AT THE TIME.

A MONTH AFTER THE BIRTHDAY PARTY, YE RELEASED “SECURITY,” IN WHICH HE RAPS: “POPS HOME, I AIN'T GETTING FRISKED / I PUT YOUR SECURITY AT RISK… I WALK IN THE CRIB, NO GETTING FRISK / BUTT-NAKED IN THE KITCHEN COOKING GRITS / TELL YO' MAMA, ‘COME GIVE ME A KISS’ / SECURITY GON' NEED SECURITY FOR THIS."

YE GOES ON TO MAKE MORE POINTED JABS TOWARD HIS EX AND PETE LATER IN THE SONG, RAPPING: “NEVER TAKE THE FAMILY PICTURE OFF THE FRIDGE / NEVER STAND BETWEEN A MAN AND HIS KIDS.”

LaWanda – O Jesus, my Jesus, thank you for your blood that was shed for me, that covers me and protects me. Thank you, Jesus, that you took the punishment for our sin on your body, Lord. O, how you must love us. Thank you, Jesus, my precious, precious, Lord.

I see you today, Lord, standing behind me. I am seated, thanking you, Lord for all you have done and will do. O Jesus, thank you that your lovingkindness never fails, that you will not allow it to fail. Your hands are so warm on my shoulders, Lord. It takes knowing you are with me to a whole different level as I feel your presence with every pulse of your heart. With every beat of your heart, your love flows into me. You move your hands and pick something up. I look back and see that it is a crown. It is the crown of lovingkindness and it is beautiful. I feel it as you place it on my head. How can it fit so perfectly, Lord? Like it is supposed to be there. Your left hand remains on my shoulder but the right hand is raised to the Father as you begin to bless me. With my whole heart I thank you, Lord. I bow my heart in awe and wonder as I hear you speak over me.

This crown is not something that you will remove, LaWanda. Wear it continually and as you interact with those around you, ask me… "Which part of Your lovingkindness do they need today, Lord?" And as you have freely received, so then freely give. I will bless and multiply each of these offerings given to me in this way. When you give mercy, you will receive mercy. When you give grace, you will receive grace. You will be blessed; they will be blessed and I will be honored.
One day you will lay this crown at My feet, dear one. But in the meantime, wear it and use it to glorify Me. My lovingkindness will never run out. Nor will the blessings that flow from you giving it away.
