A federal judge in Texas ruled that Obama’s DACA program is totally illegal and that no one can become classified as DACA from this point on, although he did not rule that current DACA recipients could be removed from the program:

A federal judge in Texas again ruled unlawful on Wednesday a program that has shielded hundreds of thousands of undocumented young adults from deportation and allowed them to legally work in the United States, rejecting a new rule that the Biden administration had introduced to address the court’s concerns.

The decision will prevent new applicants from applying for the program, but will not affect current applicants:

The decision is the latest twist in a five-year-long court saga that has left the program and its beneficiaries, known as Dreamers, hanging in the balance. While the ruling is a blow to the immigrants, the judge did not mandate an immediate end to the program. Current applicants will be able to keep and renew their protection. No new applications will be allowed.

“There are no material differences between the two programs,” the judge wrote in his 40-page opinion, adding that his decision did not compel the government to “take any immigration, deportation or criminal action against any DACA recipient.”

Biden had been pushing to codify Obama’s illegal DACA immigration policies, which would allow many illegals to GET PAID TAXPAYER DOLLARS VIA SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICARE while receiving other benefits.

In a suit brought by Texas Attorney General @KenPaxtonTX, these particular illegal immigrants impose on the the state of Texas (aka the TAXPAYER) a cost of more than $250,000,000 per year and another $533,000,000 annually in costs to local Texas communities.

As the Gospel spread from Jerusalem into the world of the Gentiles, cultural issues arose that required a spiritual response. For instance, in the food markets of large cities like Corinth and Rome, meat would be sold that was leftover from sacrifices in pagan temples. In other words, it was meat that had been offered to idols. The question arose as to whether Christians could eat that meat without defiling their conscience.

Paul wrote two lengthy passages addressing this issue in 1 Corinthians 10:14–11:1 and Romans 14:1-23. In short, he said that there was no harm in eating meat from pagan temples, but he left the decision up to the individual. More importantly, he cautioned against letting one’s own conscience be a standard of judgment against others. He said that peace in the church and mutual edification were most important (Romans 14:19). As always, love was to be the guide: “Love...does not seek its own” (1 Corinthians 13:4-5).

In all our relationships—home, work, church—we are to love one another, not judge one another. Pursue peace and edification wherever you go today.

Judging others makes us blind, whereas love is illuminating.
