The Resurrection is what makes Christianity different from all religions!

Religions offer a theology about a God out there, whom we can have NO ongoing contact with. Christianity says we have Jesus, Who has risen from the dead, and we live in daily, dynamic relationship with Him personally.

When He arose, He took all authority from satan and is now seated, together with us in heavenly places where we rule and reign together! We respond to such mercy and grace by receiving Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Does any other religion offer that? NO!
Only Christianity offers us the opportunity to abide in Jesus continually!

Easter Sunday is a special day where we celebrate His gifts to us. One wonderful gift is that He has granted us the revelation to see and experience this wonderful truth, and to discover that a living encounter with Jesus is so easy that even children can do it. We can do it also if we become childlike. Who could have imagined life and eternal life could be this easy?

So we are now invited to walk in His Light, to see and believe. So let’s do that.

Envision truth, Him at your side. Ask for His input. Tune to flow, and sense the flow from His River which is bubbling up from within.
Life becomes simple. I tune to flow, believing the Holy Spirit can be experienced as a flowing River, and I simply live out of this flow.
Wow! Does any religion offer that?

Does any religion offer complete cleansing of all my sins by simply asking, receiving, and believing, and then the opportunity to walk in the Light by putting on Christ's cloak of righteousness in simple childlike faith? No. Only Christian spirituality offers this!

Lord, THANK YOU THAT YOU HAVE OPENED THE WAY BEFORE US. THANK YOU THAT YOU HAVE OPENED OUR EYES AND THAT YOU ALLOW US TO HEAR, TO SEE AND TO RECEIVE FROM YOU. We worship YOU THE TRUE AND LIVING GOD, our Lord, and our Savior.

Jesus, we come this Sunday to celebrate the greatest gift ever given, YOUR LIFE, flowing within us!

Many people are asking, “Where is history heading?” A careful student of the Bible will be led to see that God controls the clock of destiny. Amid the world’s confusion, God’s omnipotent hand moves, working out His unchanging plan and purpose. Jesus Christ is coming to earth again. It is Christ who is in control, and He will determine the outcome. George Whitefield, the great English evangelist, said, “I am daily waiting for the coming of the Son of God.” But he did not sit down and do nothing. He burned out his life in proclaiming the Gospel of Christ.

Prayer for the day
Father, deliver me from slothfulness, keep me quickened to deliver Your message of salvation to everyone who will listen, until that day I die or You return again. Amen.

He Gives Us Life Eternal

Recently I read that it will cost this country a hundred billion dollars to get one man safely to Mars. It cost God the priceless blood of His only Son to get us sinners to heaven. By tasting death for every man, Jesus took over our penalty as He erased our guilt. Now God can forgive. In a moment of thanksgiving, Paul once exclaimed, “He loved me and gave Himself for me!” Will you repeat these words right now, even as you read? If you do, I believe you will have cause to be thankful too, and that you will experience the love of God in your heart. Try it and see. The Bible teaches that you can be absolutely sure that you are saved.

Prayer for the day
Father, although my finite mind cannot understand all the wonders of the Gospel, I thank You for the assurance of my salvation through Christ. Amen.

LaWanda – O Jesus, precious Lord. ♪♪ I’m caught up in your presence, I just want to sit here at your feet. I’m caught up in this holy moment. I never want to leave. ♪♪ This moment is holy, Lord, because YOU are here.

I keep thinking of that Jonathan Edwards' quote, “You contribute nothing to salvation except the sin that made it necessary.” O Lord, how can we ever express our gratitude? And even though it is our sin that makes salvation necessary, I am so glad it is cast as far as the east is from the west and that you remember it no more. Now you can see Jesus in me. Now I reflect YOU! No ugly reminders. Just the heart of my Savior. Thank you, Jesus, precious Lord.

Lord Jesus, I see you in the boat today. Help me to remember, Lord, that you are ALWAYS here in the boat with me, calm seas or stormy ones. You are in the boat, Lord. Even if I can’t see what you are doing. Even if you are asleep in the bow. Thank you for the promises of God that tell me this, Lord. Help me to trust that it is so, Lord, regardless of what I am seeing. Help me to measure everything against your word. Help me to believe what I am reading there and not what I am seeing with my eyes. Thank you, precious Lord, please blow the breath of your Spirit on me now. I need your presence, Lord.

Jesus – LaWanda, my dear one, you have spoken truth in all of this. You do need my presence, my precious one. AND, you already have it. Even as I am in the bow of the boat, unseen by you, I am there. I need say nothing. I need do nothing. My presence is enough, in and of itself. O my dear one, my LaWanda, with a capital “W,” trusting what you are reading in My word is far better than trusting what you are seeing. It is a NO-LOSE situation. You already know how I consider My word. I honor it even above My name. There is nothing – NOTHING, NO THING, NO PERSON above it.

What you see with your eyes may or may not be “true”. In the natural, it is always up for interpretation and if the enemy is directing the traffic, you will think you see things that are true when you do not. So trust ME and not your own sight. You can feel good about knowing when to trust yourself if you are FIRST trusting ME! If you measure what you are seeing against my Word, you cannot go wrong. Measuring it against even more than one verse is even better. Trust the check I have put in your gut and remember… I am always in the boat!
